It's a Gundagai double for the Weeding Racing team.

Sarah McDonough was able to find space on the rails before guiding Gray's Reward to a thrilling victory in the 1180m Class 1 Handicap.

We've kicked 2025 off with a bang at Gundagai Adelong Racing Club.

Taking on the Bob Vaughan Memorial 1000m sprint, Justin Stanley gave Heavenly Prophet a peach of a ride to get the win.

What a way to start the new year.

Fox Appeal takes on today's Adelong Cup at Gundagai.

A Cooma Cup winner earlier this month, the five-time winner held his own at Caulfield on Boxing Day and will be on the quick back-up in one of the first Country Cups of 2025

Craig's given him every chance, with some body work and massage helping his recovery.

Weeding Racing enjoyed a 2024 to remember, landing 48 wins while making many fantastic memories on and off the track.

On the track, some of our successes included:
- Trebles at Tumut and Balranald
- Doubles at Tumbarumba, Narrandera, and Wagga
- Defending the Narrandera Cup with Prince Of Helena
- Winning the Tumut Sprint with Big Day Out
- Winning the Holbrook President's Cup with Dark Legacy
- Winning the Cooma Cup with Fox Appeal
- Winning the Wagga Whiz with Gogol
- Wins at Albury, Bendigo, Berrigan, Kerang, Gundagai, Corowa, Wangaratta, Queanbeyan, Tatura, Leeton, Jerilderie, Cootamundra, Hay, and Moulamein.

Our team has grown off track, and we're gearing up for our biggest year yet.

A huge thank you to our hard-working team that makes it all possible, our owners for trusting us with their horses, and our jockeys who put everything on the line when they jump on our horses.

We'll see you at Gundagai and Hanging Rock tomorrow as we look to hit the ground running in 2025.

After winning at Kerang on Saturday, Heavenly Prophet enjoyed some body work and massage to help with recovery ahead of another race at Gundagai on New Year's Day.

It was a Weeding Racing quinella in the 1100m Benchmark 52 Handicap at Kerang.

The well-tried Heavenly Prophet (Jake Duffy) got home ahead of stablemate Gray's Reward (Alysha Warren).

Class Above made her debut at Tumut on Boxing Day, and we couldn't be happier with the young filly as she stormed home strongly to finish second in the 1400m Maiden Plate for jockey Milos Bunjevac.

Raced by the Amalfi family, we'll see this St Jean filly at her best over more ground and on more spacious racecourses.

It wasn't the win we wanted but the mare was full of heart when hanging on gamely for third.

🎅🏇 Another early Christmas present for Weeding Racing 🏇🎅

Smart Poppy, ridden tremendously by Jake Duffy, powered to a dominant victory in the Crighton Cup (1200m) at Wagga.

It was the 6YO's 6th career win and 18th top-three finish, taking his earnings to over $135,000.
