🐾 Calling All Dog Groomers in Australia! 🐾

We’d love to hear from you! 💬
We’re inviting current Australian dog groomers to take part in an anonymous survey about workplace wellbeing, stress, and job demands.

📋 About the Project:
Approved by La Trobe University’s Human Ethics Committee (HEC25242), this research aims to better understand the everyday experiences of dog groomers and identify areas where extra support or training could help.

You can take part if you:
✅ Are 18+ years old
✅ Currently work as a dog groomer in Australia
✅ Work primarily with dogs

🕒 The survey takes around 30 minutes and is completely anonymous.

💖 As a thank you, we’ll donate $4 per completed survey to Pets of the Homeless, up to $1000 total.

🌿 DGAWA Groomers Retreat Update 🌿

It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the 2025 Groomers Retreat in Denmark.

Despite the incredible effort that went into planning this event, unfortunately, we haven’t received enough bookings to move forward. We know how much many of you were looking forward to it, and we are so sorry for the disappointment this may cause.

We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who helped shape this event, especially those who dedicated countless hours to creating the amazing program. Your passion and commitment to our grooming community never goes unnoticed.

While this decision was not an easy one, we’ll be taking what we’ve learned and exploring other opportunities to connect and support one another in the future.
