We are starting to settle some of the horses in to ‘Our Farm’. Zac and Pancake are first to explore their new home and to meet their new friend Dryden who has chosen to stay on his farm rather than move somewhere unfamiliar at the age of 33. I said goodbye yesterday to my last group as sessions finish up in this beautiful space. This tranquil garden provided me the chance of big change, converting my practice from being inside a room to embracing the great outdoors. This was then the catalyst for introducing natures true therapists…animals. I am so very grateful to my clients who were adventurous enough to embrace the concept and trust the process. Over this last week we planted seedlings from the garden so everyone has a little piece of this space to take to the next.

The time has come…We are now moving to a divine and most special place in Jindivick…‘Our Farm’. Watch this space for some sneaky updates as we set up play areas, outdoor offices and new homes for our therapy team. So excited!!

Some beautiful and valuable experiences in the pre-prep group. Allowing our friends to walk away when they choose not to play. In this case it was Aunty Chook who showed up to work and wanted to be in the group but said ‘no’ to being patted. A lesson for some in self control while listening to the boundaries their friends set.

Our beautiful Zac has made Louise’ calendar this year in the month of December. This old boy was my first real horse, the sire of 3 of our herd, Clara’s grade 4 eventer, Rhys’ motor bike at times, and the first equine therapist in my clinic. He is living a beautiful retirement with Pancake and will soon be back with the whole herd. Louise Sedgman has captured the softness in this gentle soul with true craftsmanship. Such a beautiful calendar and a perfect stocking stuffer for the clients who have worked with him. Thank you Louise!
