Warrnambool Equine is always supportive of small local businesses and are happy to put this post up on our FB page. Wishing Tree Haven Equine success in the addition to their current services.
Exciting times ahead for Tree Haven Equine. Starting in 2024 I will be offering horse sitting services.
Being a horse owner myself I know how hard it is to plan for a holiday. I've been lucky to have capable, reliable friends look after my horses, but I understand it can be a headache to find someone trustworthy and reliable to look after your equine friends.
I know I'm fully capable and reliable and have experience with most breeds and genders. Our own paddocks or stables are cleaned every day and they are tasks I enjoy and I look after my own horses in all weather conditions.
Most importantly of all, in my opinion, is having the experience in identifying colic or other illnesses.
I can ride a quad bike, tow a float, drive a manual and have reliable transport to get me to and from properties.
We can also board one horse here on our own property if you want to get away without the worry of your horse being looked after.
Rates and services will vary depending on the tasks involved and your location. I would also consider house sitting if you need your other pets looked after as well.
Eddie looks like he's having a great day 😊
What a terrific afternoon and into the evening we had yesterday for our sale and trade day.
Had a great amount of customers through the door. I didn't realise until it was the end of the evening that I hadn't taken photos 🙄.

NEW PRODUCT ALERT! I use and highly recommend Fat Attack for managing hangry horses at those times we need to control intake. We will be placing an order on Monday August 7 so let us know via message or comment if you would like to see if you get the same response to this product that I have. I have used it for my mini Bentley and my Arab Andie X Cisco. I have included some before and after photos. Fat Attack is just one tool I use in my approach to managing my tubby horses.
Someone’s gotta do it. When the dung beetles are nice and cosy for the winter there’s no one to help with the poo picking. 😫🙄🤷♀️ Thank goodness for Millenia Rakes. This one is years old and good as new. We stock all three sizes of Millenia Rakes. #milleniarakes
Need a new work bridle? The browband is cracked at the front. Still intact behind. Browband is removable too if you want to switch out for a new one. Black Full size. $40
Big shout out to Simone from WOW saddles for donating us a TV for the shop. Not only can we show you the WOW saddle on the big screen we are now running entertainment! Closed Easter Monday then back to usual hours.
Sophie Kelly our Eventing Ambassador, popping round a little cheeky 2* course at Avenel.
One of our amazing ambassadors doing what he does best. Looking awesome at Boneo Gary Kermond 🤩
Cisco, The Wonderpony & Bentley demonstrating the small 3cm Just Grazin knotless haynets. Note that even though they are hungry trolls the holes aren’t too small and they can get more than enough per mouthful to avoid frustration but not grab massive mouthfuls which makes the net last longer. Although the manufacturer says two biscuits there is more than two biscuits in here - closer to 3 & 1/2. They also open fully wide so no tiny opening to try and shove hay into. So quick to fill! Hands down the best nets I’ve ever used. Beat the (inevitable) price rise. Last stock available at $38 each.
Just Grazin’ Hay Nets
Just Grazin’ Ultimate Knotless Hay Nets in stock now! Small nets from $32 to $38 (depending on hole size). These hold up to 3 biscuits of hay, but plenty of stretch if you want to add more. 6cm is for horses that you don’t need to slow down eating, 4cm is the most commonly used for horses where you would like to simulate grazing and reduce the volume per bite and 3cm is for ponies and horses where you really need the hay to last. We have a full bale 4cm hole net for $65. We can also get 2cm netting as a special order.
Haylage! Here is how I feed our Manuka Lucerne Haylage. Or what we like to call “Horse Sauerkraut” 🤣
Saturday Night Live! Mel introduces Feedchar and talks about why she has started her warmblood mare Mia on it.
I am definitely not a videographer but thought I'd share my "how to" so you don't make the same mistake I did 🤣 #wormerexplosion
