💥HOW BIG SHOULD YOUR GSP BE ?

Since this question comes up a lot in the community GSP groups, I thought id shed some light to those who wish to know and learn how big your cute little devil is going to grow.

If the breed standard is followed correctly , the following is the averages of height and weight of a fully grown gsp.

And for those that struggle to convet metric to imperial I have also included both.

66cm is 25.9 inches max for Dog
63cm is 24.8 inches max for Bitch

According to the Australian Breed Standard.

Which equates to in weight around this ⬇️

Weight 70lb’s is 31.8kg max for Dog
Weight 60lb’s is 27.2kg max for Bitch

Minimum’s are stated in snippets below.

If your dog is a few kilograms over its nothing to stress about , obviously there is so many variables for other reasons of different weight Im not delving into here.

And incase your following our page from another country , I have included a few snippets from the Uk , Usa , Nz , and the Fci breed standards.

A simple concept that is generally considered that size is a genetic trait.

Stumbled apon this beauty this morning, “Mansfield” Bellata , 80’s era and the very handsome Jed” he was a retrieving nut who used to drop a nine pound cannon ball at your feet to throw for him to fetch.

If any one knows of who was a show breeder in the Canberra area in the 80’s , Id love to hear of any knowledge you might have on them, Breeder prefix’s or Breeder names.

Jed was a show dog who was competing in the show ring originally, once he came to Mansfield Hunting Lodge he made an phenomenal hunting dog, wining serval duck hunting competitions , and working everyday for Pheasant and quail hunters.

Chilli has broken the Recoil Litter puppy number. She gave birth to 16 puppies, 3 girls and 13 boys , sadly its down to 11 alive 9 boys and 2 girls but they are coming along well thank goodness. Chilli had this many babes.

Our small little online store is now live!

No plans on opening up a chain store anytime soon lol , its really just something to keep my mind busy while Im house bound.

So that said if any one is kind enough to find something in there they like and would like to place an order , please be patient with postage as I need to rely on others to help me.

The store when first opened the writing is missing but pops up after you click on an item , no idea why 🤷‍♀️ Iv contacted the softwear company in regards to it.

Iv used some photos of our own dogs as well as ai creations, there is about 50% that has the Recoil Kennel Logo on it , the other 50% does not.

Item quality is great with most stuff , but please read descriptions well to get a feel for the product and I hope to get more photos of each product added soon.
