very cute and each one of our cavies are well handled and enjoy human company.We breed and sell cavies for pets at an affordable price and registered cavies to other cavy breeders. I particularly like the Rex, Texel, Merino and Himalayan breeds but it is difficult not to like them all.All enquires welcomed.

Hello there Cavriolet followers, it's been quite a while since I have done any updates but I'm always here, just keeping a low profile and always watching what other cavy followers and breeders are up to and enjoying their posts but since the weather is so very hot and humid, I wanted to remind those of us who keep animals of any kind to please be aware that we all need to ensure that our pets have access to cool, fresh water daily, it doesn't take long for the water in their feeders to reach a temperature that's unsuitable for them to drink, so we need to be diligent with refilling them on a regular basis, this could well save their lives. Please take take of yourselves and your animals and let's get through this summer without any unnecessary losses 👍🫶

This little Rex sow bub was born as one (1) of four (4) on 16th May, all beautiful babies but sadly only two (2) survivors, probably due to the fact that they were the first litter for their inexperienced mumma and a rapid delivery, not a good combination but we're blessed to have two (2) darling little sows for her to love. This baby sow isn't gaining weight as quickly as her sister, so I'm giving her some supplement feeds to help her to catch up and she's doing just fine 🤗❤️

Since July 2023 I haven't been taking too many photos, as there has been so much to contend with in my personal life and my passion for photography has not been a priority, however although this pic isn't one of my best, I though it was about time I featured a new photo on my Cavriolet cover page and I'm going to attempt to update more often in future. This is Cavriolet Bellatrix with her two little sons Cavriolet Bogart (black) and Cavriolet Brando (golden agouti). There were 3 in the litter but sadly the sow bub didn't survive, however the little boars are doing very well. Their sire is Cavriolet Silvano, a handsome dark lemon agouti 🤗❤️

CAVRIOLET CAVY STUD’S STORY

Cavriolet Cavy Stud was initiated in July 2011, the year Cavriolet officially commenced as a serious breeder of fine quality cavies, always striving to improve those breeds we concentrate on i.e. originally Texel, Merino, Sheltie, Coronet, Sheba, Rex and Alpaca, however these days we are principally breeding the REX and ALPACA but still have a select number of the other breeds but mainly for our own pleasure and once they dwindle, we will no longer keep those breeds. We derive immense pleasure from watching our cavies interact, especially when the bubs arrive and it’s very rewarding to know that we’re achieving our dream of breeding superb quality animals with beautiful, gentle temperaments.

We sometimes do but rarely breed and sell cavies for pets at an affordable price and registered cavies to other cavy breeders who are serious about showing our best.

We take great pride in the superb quality of our cavies and are immensely proud to have the current 2018 NATIONAL TITLE HOLDER, DOUBLE GRAND CHAMPIONS, GRAND CHAMPIONS and CHAMPIONS who bear our CAVRIOLET name.
