Why choose us for Daycare for your dog? Firstly we only cater for small dogs. Secondly, we only have a small number of dogs at any given time. Thirdly, dogs run on real grass, in a yard enjoying the sun and we also have ample undercover sheltered areas for those rainy days when energetic dogs still want to play. Dogs get to play together and play games with handlers, and they are even given a bit of basic obedience training.

Thank you to everyone who gave/sent flowers today. Your kindness in this hard time is greatly appreciated. Thank you also for all the kind words everyone has sent. Ruby was a very special dog and will be sorely missed.

Over the last few weeks our beautiful Ruby’s condition declined. This afternoon, surrounded by all her family, we said goodbye. I am completely devastated and feel lost but I know her suffering is now over. I will miss her snuggles, being bashed every morning for hugs, her very vocal excitement for walks and beach runs and her yelling at the neighbours for no good reason than just because. Ruby, you will forever be in our hearts.

I would also like to thank Wauchope Vets for their amazing care for Ruby, not just today but over the many years she was with us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, 15 Today 🎂🎉. Our beautiful Ruby made it, she may not see or hear us as well these days, she may be skinny and her bones creek. We are so blessed to have you with us still, there have been many times this past year we thought we wouldn’t have you much longer, but you constantly surprise all of us. Hopefully lots more cuddles and snuggles to come.

Our poor Jett has done it again. Yesterday Jett had surgery to repair the ACL on what was her good leg after tearing it playing with one of our daycare dogs. She will be on the sidelines for a few months now missing all her friends.

We would like to thank the team at Wauchope Vets for the amazing care they’ve given to not only Jett through both her ACL surgeries, but also with Ruby and her issues. We couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

We are saddened to hear that Lucy crossed the rainbow bridge this morning. Lucy was our first daycare dog, and her story was amazing to say the least.

Lucy was the queen of the yard and expected to be treated as such. She will be greatly missed by her human parents and everyone who knew her.
