🤣 🧸🐸A very unusual pet presented today for emergency surgery!! ‘Froggy’ 🐸suffered terrible wounds after being caught in a tug of war!! He was pretty flat, with a large tear in his abdomen and lots of his inner organs exposed…😞 We quickly stabilised him under anaesthetic and Michael managed to pack the stuffing back in and suture him back up! Froggy quickly returned to normal….his grateful owner Lulo promptly showed her appreciation!! We treat lots of different animals at @wauchope_vets and we strive to return them all to health as best possible!! If your favourite teddy needs a stitch up….you know who to call!! 😂🧸
Thank you to all the awesome, supportive and appreciative pet owners who backed us up today!! 🤚💪. So this afternoon we got notified of a ‘disgruntled/unhappy’ client that posted a pretty nasty post on a local FB group. In our work we see pet owners/people from all walks of life with all sorts of different challenges and we strive to never to judge & treat everyone respectfully and with empathy! Today we spent a great deal of time, consideration and effort dealing with this patient and the appreciate young owner, only to then have another person who was not involved or present for the discussion and treatment plan make very disparaging comments online after abusing us (again) on the phone…. Michael’s sense of humour, practical and no-nonsense approach may not suit everyone…but we pride ourselves on our honesty, empathy and practicality. We are aware it’s impossible to please everyone and the nature of our work is often emotional, tough, and distress so we are used to coping it a few times, but we loved the awesome support many of you posted in response to todays post! Thank you!!🙏

Every pet responds differently and we love trying to make their visit and experience with us as positive, rewarding and as stress free as possible!
