Many of you have already met her, but we are here to formally introduce you to our newest veterinarian, Dr Isabel Ling.
Isabel will also now be offering additional supportive therapies such as laser treatment and physiotherapy for wound healing, osteoarthritis or other musculoskeletal issues.

If you haven't already heard our clinic is offering this new, YEAR LONG TICK and FLEA injection for dogs (sorry cats).
No more accidentally missing doses, or forcing your dog to eat oral preventatives, this one injection prevents fleas and ticks along with some other external parasites. Given alongside annual vaccination and heartworm injections, with three monthly intestinal worming, your dog will be covered for the lot. Assisted Rehoming of Pingu

Due to no fault of her own, Pingu is looking for a new place to call home. Unfortunately her owners are unable to continue caring for her, so they are regretfully putting her up for adoption.
She has lived with a big dog and has grown up around children, so would be well suited to a family with kids and/or a dog. She would equally be fine with an older person or couple.
She spends a lot of her time outdoors but enjoys her naps inside on the couch.

The team had an amazing experience sailing the Hastings River. Unfortunately we were missing a few staff members, but we managed to get a lovely group photo with most of the team.

5 days ago Sonny was admitted into hospital after being bitten by a red-bellied black snake.
His health was touch and go for a few days, but after two antivenom infusions his story has a happy ending - yesterday afternoon Sonny was discharged from hospital 💜 He was a brave lil fighter and the team were so happy to see him heading home.

After nine weeks of pregnancy, Freya underwent an elective caesarean. Dr Vivien and the nursing team were able to successfully deliver her puppies and recover Freya from her anaesthetic.
Two weeks earth side, they are all thriving and gaining weight. Freya has wonderfully taken on her new role of motherhood, taking very good care of her babies 🥰

One of the most common questions we get asked around desexing is whether it will change a pet’s personality. Fortunately, the answer is simple – no it won’t!

Desexing your pet prevents unwanted pregnancies and significantly reduces the risk of reproductive cancers such as ovarian, mammary and testicular cancer. While it can reduce the incidence of certain behaviours, such as wandering, fighting and hu***ng, it won’t change your pet’s underlying personality and they’ll still be the dog you love! 🐕💕

There are many plants in Australian gardens and bushland that can cause contact dermatitis or allergies in pets. Common ones include Zebrina (Wandering Trad), Moses-in-a-cradle, and certain grasses such as kikuyu and buffalo grass. These plants can cause itchy, red skin where they touch your dog.
