Just look at this wonderful pony 🥰 Weerina Starlite Gem turned 30 just 3 days ago. Eila & Winnie”s first dressage comp together, scoring over 83 & 89% (I think that’s correct 😊) in 2 test & in a field of 10 riders got them Jackpot Champion 😃 Congratulations Eila & Winnie you guys just rock 😍

Current situation update for horse owners:

Agriculture Victoria has not been advised of any further incidents of multiple sudden deaths occurring since Friday 14 July.

Our investigation continues to suggest no common link between the reported incidents, and no evidence of an infectious cause.

To help with this investigation, we’re asking horse owners to report sudden horse deaths as soon as possible so we can ensure reliable test results.

Horse owners should always monitor their animals, conduct good parasite management and w**d control, and ensure good quality feed and water is provided.

Today I received a wonderful phone call from a lovely lady named Katie Hill, she was asking about Weerina Starlite Gem.
It all began in 1998 with little Winnie, such a beautiful mare who always came home with a sash. After I had finished showing Winnie she went to a couple of families with little ones, she never disappointed & always looked after them. Winnie ended being sold to a family in Kinglake & that’s where I lost track of her 😢 as the years went by I was sure that she had passed. Well you could have blown me over with a feather, the sweet little lady is still alive! At 29 Winnie is still looking after the little ones 🥰 & still looks stunning. Did I cry when I found out Winnie was still alive? Of course I did 🥰
