"Ever seen a zucchini big enough to have its own postcode? 🌱😲 Come marvel at our gargantuan garden goodies this Sunday at the Summer Heritage Tree Festival!

We’ll be there with fresh produce, garden wisdom, and all the secrets to growing veggies that could double as gym weights. 💪🥒

If you're after something for the garden, we have a few remaining onion chive, and garlic chive plants, and some worm tea liquid fertiliser to get them kicking along.

Our zinnias are looking pretty spectactular too, so if that's your thing, pick your own posie to take home for just $5.

🌱 Sunshine Harvest Garden will be at the Summer Fruit Tree Festival this Sunday! 🌞

Join us at Werribee Park Community Farm on Sunday, March 2nd, from 10 AM to 3 PM for a day filled with fresh produce, gardening inspiration, and family fun!

This event, hosted by our good friends Werribee Park Heritage Orchard, will be a opportunity to learn all about their heritage fruits, tour their orchard, learn new skills, and even take some trees home for your own backyard,

We’ll be:
🥕 Selling fresh veggies grown by our amazing volunteers 🌿 Running no-dig vegetable gardening demos – learn how to grow food sustainably! 🔍 Hosting a garden scavenger hunt around our veg gardens – fun for all ages!

Come support our community garden, and our friends in the orchard group, stock up on homegrown produce, and pick up some new gardening skills. We can’t wait to see you there! 🌻🍅

We’re back with another free veggie giveaway at the Sunshine Harvest Garden!

We’ve got plenty of fresh produce to share with our community, including:

🌱 Free Veggies at Sunshine Harvest Garden! 🥕🌽

Our volunteers have been hard at work at Sunshine Harvest Garden, and we have some veggies that may be oversized or past their prime but are still perfectly good to eat. Instead of letting them go to waste, we’re sharing them with you—our community!

All our produce is grown with love using organic, no-till methods. This week’s selection includes heirloom zucchini, daikon, salad radish, heirloom beetroot, chives, collards, spring onion, and salad turnips. They’re free, yes—absolutely free!

🕒 When: Sunday, January 5th, 10 AM–12 PM
📍 Where: Werribee Park Community Farm
(Enter at Gate 5, K-Road, Werribee South. Turn hard left at Shadowfax Winery and follow the gravel road around the polo field to the bluestone homestead.)

🌱 Join the Sunshine Harvest Garden Team! 🌱

Love the outdoors? Passionate about sustainability? Want to make a difference in your community? We're looking for volunteers to join our organic gardening program in Werribee South!

👩‍🌾 What you’ll do:
✨ Help with seed-raising, planting, weeding and harvesting
✨ Support composting and worm farming initiatives
✨ Work alongside volunteers of all ages and abilities, including NDIS participants

💚 Why join?
