Don’t Stopp Believin always at the top 🫶

Our final class of the day was the 3 Yo Open 1st go round here from the Cotton Stakes.
Leading the Open division is a three-way tie between Jose Cruz riding Stevie Grape Von, owned by Matacorp LTD, Zachary Henning aboard his horse Believin The Sweet (Dont Stopp Believin out of Smooth Little Boon), and Sean Flynn riding Gini (Dual Reyish out of Gini One Time), owned by Billy Wolf, all with 218s!
Zachary and Believin The Sweet also topped the Intermediate division leaderboard with their 218 point run!
In the Limited it was Thomas Smith yet again claiming the top spot on our leaderboard riding Shezjustadevilwoman (Starey out of El Venas Headliner), owned by Margot Hazell Inc., and joined by Jojo Lemond riding Rollin In The Rollz (Rollz Royce out of Acres Of Cats), owned by Heather Hankins, with a pair of 215.5s!
Fun Fact: Jojo Lemond makes up over half of the Limited Pencil finals taking place in the 2nd go round!
It took a 213 or better in the Open, a 210 or better in the Intermediate and a 207 or better in the Limited to advance to the next go round! Thank you to Justin Insurance - Equine & Ranch Specialists for bringing us this update!
