How short our pet’s lifespan is just breaks me 🥹 But a study has just found that the number of friends your dog makes has a massive impact on their health and how long they live 🐕 🐈

It's part of an enormous study of 21,000 pets and their longevity.

Here are my dog's New Years Resolutions-
-Begging for treats will only be on days ending in “Y”
-Tummy rubs = a minimum of 6 per day
-Daily walks will be accepted at any time of the day
-Grooming will be tolerated as long as mum books the Deluxe Package
- Barking at the postman will decrease (slightly)
- Extend my paw of friendship to all lizards that enter the backyard

As we wrap up for our first Christmas at Simply Paws we want to take this opportunity to thank our amazing customers that trust us with caring for their fur babies. Both of Bruno's girlfriends are at daycare today. 🫣 Bruno doesn't seem too bothered by it....I think the look on Lulu and Marley's face tell a different story. 😁

Our pool life guard on duty today is Bella! 🏊‍♀️ She has been taking her job very seriously 🧐 by testing the water before allowing any other pups to go in the pool and also limiting the number of pups in the pool at the same time.
She's doing a pawsitively fabulous job 👌🐾

This week's fun consisted of treat and toy searches, splashing in the doggie pool, playing with new friends and getting our Christmas photo's taken. There's only one more week to go at Simply Paws before we take a short break for the festive season. 🎄🌟⛄️

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Simply Paws.🎅🎄🦌 Our Santa-paws helpers have started putting together gift bags (including a Christmas photo) for our wonderful regular customers.

It's definitely the season for pool party fun, enrichment activities and playing with new friendly pals. Our pups had a great time sniffing out treats and searching for hidden toys amongst a stack of boxes. Some may have had a little too much fun, thinking that a box was the actual toy! Take note parents.....sometimes those expensive toys aren't necessary, a box is far more exciting😁

The fun continued at Simply Paws this week as we made the most of the warmer weather 🌞by having a splash in the doggie pool 🏖and keeping cool next to the fans. There wasn't time to rest for too long as we had new friends 🐶to meet and enrichment games to play. 😄

It was inspection time at Simply Paws this week🧐🕵️‍♀️👮with Chief Toy Inspector Ollie putting our toys through their paces (you can see more on Instagram ). We also had quite a few of our dogs making sure our new balance beam was up to scratch and luckily we got the lick of approval!🐶🐕🐾To say that the dogs had a ball would be an understatement 😁
