Everyone meet Tillie! This is after her very first puppy groom! She was so brave! Even if your puppy doesn’t need a hair cut just yet, it’s very important to get them use to the ins and outs of grooming! From sounds, to nail clipping, handling or even just the environment of grooming, it’s important to start early!

Everyone meet Bambi! Two weeks ago today I decided to help this precious rescue girl on my day off.Australian K9 Rescue Vic we’re desperate for a groom so at the first chance I jumped to help her and give her the make over she desperately needed! Everyone meet Chae! This little boy is in foster with Australian K9 Rescue Vic and is a very scared little boy. He was very nervous meeting me and wouldn’t even let me pat him at the start. After lots of “good boys”, treats and positive reinforcement he even let me hold him and cuddle up to him by the end! Such a brave little boy!

Everyone meet Leo! Leo is a rescue dog with Australian K9 Rescue Vic and came to me today for his first groom! As you can see Leo was so nervous and had never met me before so is completely understandable. I was very patient with him and reassured him the entire time! His coat was so bad I even found a dead spider tangled in the fur! A massive shout out to Australian K9 Rescue for all the hard work and dedication they put in to save these precious animals! Now Leo is a complete new dog and will one day find his forever home! 🤍

Everyone meet Ted! Ted is only four months old and today he had his first ever groom! He was a very nervous boy and didn’t like the hose but after some desensitisation and lots of encouragement he made so much progress. This is why it’s so important to get puppies groomed at a young age! Can’t wait to see you again soon Ted!
