Ballodair Park Equestrian Centre is intended for amateur and professional riders alike. Our newly designed and built cross country course is inviting and exciting, with a range of obstacles to suit green horses and riders as well as more experienced combinations. Our show jump course and pole work area are sited on well-drained turf. Our dressage arenas are state of the art, with beautiful Martin

Collins Australia waxed surfaces. Our 700 m sand race track, complete with running rail, has a gentle incline which means horses can do important fitness and cross training work with ease. Clients can train with their own instructors, or take advantage of in-house lessons. Future plans include regular dressage, jumping and showing protocol days, as well as clinics hosted by some of the best visiting instructors available.

This is a no-brainer, this is NO to demotion. Please raise your voices loudly, but politely. We need these grounds. There is no justifiable reason to demolition them.

HDAA plans to demolish the Clarendon dressage arenas despite Equestrian NSW’s offer to take over. Council paused demolition but can’t force talks, leaving the future of this long-standing equestrian hub in the hands of State Government.

Just giving everyone a heads up -- we'll be closed for bookings from Monday September 29 to Friday October 3 -- and possibly that first October weekend as well, depending on how things go.

We're upgrading the indoor arena surface, and it's going to be a big job. If, with luck, we finish sooner we'll advise.

Thanks.

💛 R U OK? Day 💛

Today is a reminder to check in with the people around you – family, friends, teammates, workmates. A simple “R U OK?” can start a conversation that could change someone’s life.

It’s okay not to be okay, and it’s important we all support each other – not just today, but every day. 💬✨

So, take a moment to reach out, listen, and let someone know they’re not alone. Together, we can make a difference.

Ballodair Park is thrilled to announce that we're hosting the inimitable Brett Parberry for a 2-day dressage clinic. Brett is one of Australia's best performed dressage riders, with an incredibly varied equestrian career. He also happens to be one of our very best coaches, with the ability to clearly and simply explain complicated concepts, with a wide range of exercises at his fingertips to help his students develop and succeed. Whether you're new to the game or looking to polish your moves, Brett offers unconditional support, enthusiasm and expertise.

(FWIW, it was Brett who, after working with Lyndal in her first pure dressage clinic, told her she had what it takes to be a very fine dressage rider/trainer/competitor. Without him and his unwavering faith, we might not be where we are today with our team!)

Clinic date: Sat September 27/Sun September 28

Lesson duration: 45 mins

Cost: $250 including GST and arena fee

If you'd like to book time to train with Brett, please send us a message and we'll organise from there!

It ain't over until it's over and it ain't over yet. Now is not the time to throw up our hands. Please turn up to the meeting and confirm the very public support we showed last time.

!!!We Need Your Support!!! ***UPDATE***

Following the Hawkesbury City Council EGM in July, Council granted 60 days for HDAA and ENSW to negotiate and to come to an agreement for the future use of the grounds.

ENSW lodged a formal management proposal at the request of HDAA. ENSW was invited to make a 15min presentation to the HDAA committee, but no discussion or negotiation took place. HDAA has rejected the submission and has not given any reason for the rejection.

This has resulted in a second motion from supporting councillors to be put to the chamber meeting on Tuesday 9th September at 6.30pm.

The motion requests that both parties come to the table and negotiate a resolution with the support of mediation facilitated by Council. We hope and trust this motion will serve to secure the future of the Clarendon grounds for both parties.

Let’s show how much this means to all of us. Stand up for what you believe in. We appreciate each and every one of you.

Be there 6.30pm Tuesday 9th September Hawkesbury City Council Chambers. Let’s rally!
