Kudos to everyone involved.
It's a pretty interesting process watching this young Thoroughbred who came to us from Racing NSW, he was busted and broken, who was prepared for racing but never raced as the vet wisely said he would breakdown. So he's been with us for a couple of years now and spent more time, lame, stiff and sore than free and forward.....
Neil has taken time with him, more on the ground than in the saddle, small amounts when he is sound... He is becoming a great horse for demonstrations and for Neil to use when teaching, he demonstrates, online, liberty and freestyle riding and show s us responsive yields, canters softly and lightly, something to aspire to.
I guess there is a reason he found us and we found him....

Sometimes we all need to move our feet.... once you know the games on the ground and you start to understand and play with them in the saddle there only limit is us... our independent seat, our confidence, our understanding of the process!
Well that's where Neil can help you....
we practice our process until it becomes part of our being... and along the way we have a lot of fun and 'aha' moments.

Liberty & Freestyle Riding Clinic this weekend. Life is Good!
Liberty!
We shared many moments in many locations....Team work, dream work.
Building a connection with no strings attached. Our horse's learning to not take things personally and stay with us in the positive thinking side of their brain.
At times we had 5 or 6 horses at liberty... it takes a village to raise a child, a village who are calm, centred and understand the 'we' in Team.
WE truly value this supportive and horse and people loving community.
Thank you Lynetta for joining us over the past 2 weeks, Neil is looking forward to joining you February 2024 for the Trail Riding with Confidence Course, in Glenorchy.

2 weeks have passed so very quickly…. A glorious last day with trails this morning and this evening!

We finished our day riding point to point, patterns, carrot sticks, bunny rabbits to butterflies… there’s no where else we would rather be.

Inspiration-comes in many forms!
This lady purchased a young horse when she turned 60, some of us go on a cruise, no she bought a young horse and then learnt to ride!
Fast forward and yesterday she made her annual pilgrimage to Wilton for her 2 week Horsemanship Immersion with Neil and others in the community!
A 6 hour drive, she and Boaz coped fine, her AC threw the towel in. Now in her mid seventies this lady inspires her family, friends and all of us!
A living example of ‘being the best “me” that she can be.
Thanks Christine for the wonderful example, looking forward to spending the next few weeks together on our horsemanship education vacation.

ONLY 5 sleeps before our 2 week Horsemanship Immersion Course with Neil begins..
Learning to push or drive a horse from point to point, rather than leading or dragging them along.
Allows the horse who has a long body to see us, see our focus, feel our intention and energy, we can travel in harmony together, safely and confidently.
Puzzle solving some of our horses symptoms, like bucking, nipping, jig jogging on the ground before we get on their back, because we care about how he feels. Treating our horses like partners and not like prisoners.

Hurry up, we can't be late the lesson starts at 10am?
Ever been hurt getting on a horse?
We take the time it takes so that our horse, is in the positive thinking side of his brain and feels okay before we get on. No gold medals for taking the time it takes, but it sure sets the scene for partnership and harmony.
Confidence and trust are hard to gain and easy to lose.
Teaching people, like you and I, too understand, adjust and be able to read our horses wherever we are.
So we both enjoy our horse time and can savour the ride as the sun goes down.

Some more fun from our recent Horsemanship Demonstration with Dash Rip Rock our little young ASH and Neil. Wonderful to see such a reactive prey animal showing confidence in Neil and using the positive thinking side of his brain.
Neil has taken the time over the winter to revisit Dash' foundation, back to the basics so nice to have a little guy around who now chooses to come to us and isn't so skeptical and reactive. Developing a good citizen for a good life.
