Our newest team member Sophia Pratley did a fantastic job at the WVDC competition yesterday. She rode Lago Glen Cleopatra at her first outing for a 1st and 4th in the preliminary and brought home a 2nd place on Rendez in the novice. Great effort in very hot and windy conditions! Thanks also to Lily Adams who put in a lot of hard work with Cleo last year!

Lovely day at Werribee today. AEA Tuscany( Corinne McInerney) placed 2nd and 3rd in the medium and Keystone Fantasy( Lillian Savage) came 2nd in the elementary. Thank you very much Josie Nicholson, Joerg, Paul and Glenn for you all help.

Liberty Sport Horses is now Lago Glen Dressage!

We are pleased to officially unveil our new name and facilities at the rapidly evolving Winchelsea property. A big thank you to everyone who has helped on the journey so far.

The Lago Glen facilities are continually developing, with our property featuring indoor and outdoor arenas, round yard, stables, under cover day yards and double fenced electric paddocks; and more to come!

Our focus is on training and selling happy, healthy horses in a safe environment.

Keystone Furstin Class did a super job at her first show, winning the 4yo class at Boneo CDI Summer Championships! Thanks to Josie, Joerg and Lone for all their help, and Lillian for the ride on such a talented mare, and huge thanks to Trish for ensuring my horses and property were well looked after while we were away!

Keystone Bellefluer K (owned by Lillian Savage) and Wendonlea Fidernae (Shanae Jenkinson) both made very impressive debutes at the Carlton Performance Horse Leader equine para national dressage championships, winning and placing second respectively both days in the 4yo class. It was such a pleasure to compete these two beautiful, talented mares!

Three very good paces, scopey trot, uphill canter. Bound to be top competition horse. Already won first dressage championship with promising comments. Great work ethic and extremely loose and supple through the whole body. Easy to catch, shoe, float etc. He has also spent 6 months jump training and....

The beautiful AEA Tuscany did a great job at this years DJWTS and gave me such a fun ride! It is such a pleasure to work with this horse,he has such a wonderful temperament and willingness that make not just every show but every training session an enjoyable experience.Thank you to all his connections for your help and support; Hanna, Winston, Steph, Critta and Lone, and to Joerg, Lily, Lisa and Gwen for all their help.

Wilky Fuerst Glance (owned by Jennifer Evan's) did a great job at his first Boneo outing, the Autumn Championships, to come home with a 2nd and 3rd in the preliminary championships with 71.6% and 73.5%. Homebred and owned Liberty L'Espoir performed beautifully at her first outing also coming home with 2nd and 3rd and scores over 71%! Thank you so much to Lily and Gwen for looking after everything at home, to the committee for a great show and to Joerg for all his hard work.

Katie Khodirev's "Flume" (Fiderstern) made a very impressive start to his dressage career winning the Preliminary championship at Saturday's WVDC championship's! Cheryl Fort's "Rendez" also did a great job in the preliminary class coming home with a 3rd and a 5th.Both horses did some lovely work and behaved very well at their first competition.

Barastoc young horse dressage competition at Werribee was a great success despite the nasty weather! Jennifer Evans Wilky Fuerst Glance made a great start to his competition career with a 2nd and 3rd and 74% in the 5yo class. Otway's Bojangles (Steph and David Crittenden) showed what a great horse he is winning both his 5yo classes with 79 & 83%! AEA Tuscany (Hanna Calleja) did two lovely tests for 1st and 2nd in the 6yo with over 79%! Thank you so much to the owners for these lovely rides, to the organisers for a well run show and to Caitlin, Steph and especially Joerg for all their help and running round which made 6 tests in under 4 hours possible!

Janelle Young's lovely Furst Victory (Furst Love) performed extremely well at the Boneo Christmas championships, just his second competition. He placed a close 2nd in the prelim and received a great score of 73% in his 4yo class!

It is with mixed emotions that we farewell Sarah May and wish her the best of luck at her next position. Sarah has been a god sent for the last 14 months, hard working, reliable, efficient, capable, a great horse woman, always showing initiative and doing it with a smile! We will miss her very much but are excited for all the opportunities her big move is sure to provide. Thank you Sarah!

Very pleased with how Otways Bojangles (Stephanie Crittenden) and AEA Tuscany (Hanna Calleja) behaved and performed at the Australian Dressage Championships! They didn't put a foot wrong and gave me some lovely rides. Tuscany scored a top 8 in the elementary and was the highest placed Victorian in the 3.2. Thank you so much to Steph and David, Hanna and Winston for trusting me with your beautiful, talented horses, Lone, Joerg, Peter, Sarah, Emma, Lily, Caitlin, Wayne and Spencer for all your help and hard work.

Another great weekend at Boneo! Furst Victory (owned by Janelle Young) lived up to his name coming home with a win, two seconds and a third from his first competition! AEA Tuscany (Hanna Calleja) did a super job at his first Elementary outing with a 2nd, two 3rds and a 6th. Otways Bojangles (Steph Crittenden) scored over 70% twice for two 3rds, a 4th and a 6th, and little Lucy behaved beautifully at her first off property experience. Thanks to The Dancing horse for sponsoring such a nice event!

Gorgeous AEA Tuscany(Hanna Calleja) had a fantastic show at the Mitavite AOR Championships at Boneo this weekend. He won all four of his tests, all with scores over 70%! The stunning Otways Bojangles(Steph Crittenden) also performed beautifully in the worst possible conditions to finish a close second to his stable mate. Thanks to the organisers for a very well run show, Caitlin and Lily for all their help at home and Joerg for all of his support.
