Enjoying the scenic view on 5yo OTT George!

George is here on boot camp during his owner's overseas holidays. A reassuring concept if you're going away but want your horse to continue his education in a safe environment. No more dreading that first ride back!

Bookings are now being taken for the summer holidays.

As always, breaking in, mouthing, general training and sales preps are also available.

Proving yet again, that chestnut mares can be superstars!

Mackenzie is a brilliant little Welsh Cob x who has matured from the wiggly, wobbly and somewhat emotional individual who was mouthed here a couple of years ago (she was already broken to saddle, but mainly ridden bitless).

Under the patient guidance of her owner, Denise, Kenz has learned to cope with just about everything ( except perhaps cows!). Working equitation, trail riding, jumping, grand kid sitting...the list goes on.

She's a gorgeous little mare who has been here for boot camp during Denise's holidays. Kenz worked on her dressage skills during that time, and is now cruising through the lateral work: travers, renvers, shoulder in and half pass.

What a very clever little miss!

Makes my day hearing about graduate "breakers" who are fulfilling expectations.

Swingtime Doulton, or Dolly to his friends, was a mature age student when started under saddle at Taminga as a 12yo earlier this year.

This smart Welsh A gelding was well worth the wait...

Clearly a great recipe for an outstanding performance horse....just blend Welsh Cob and Thoroughbred.

Miley is living proof! She has just completed a brief training stint, and it's been so much fun experiencing her metronome precise, power driven stride!

Miley is a wonderful partner for her owner Dianne, who is looking forward to refining her dressage skills as she progresses with this quality mare.

Poppy is a reg. RPSB show quality pony from the esteemed Silkwood stud. She is also a gentle and incredibly sweet natured child's pony.

Poppy is quiet enough for lead rein duties, yet sufficiently responsive for the independent rider who is ready to start sitting on a neat little canter.

Poppy has had a well rounded education, with experience at pony club, shows, obstacles and trail riding. She can be safely handled by children, and is quiet to float.

Poppy absolutely thrives on attention, affection and hugs. She could easily be that trustworthy friend for your child that you've been seeking.

Poppy is 12.3hh and 10 years old. She is available with her beautiful fitted Fylde saddle if required.

If only their legs grew with their riders, these super pony club mounts would never need new homes!
However, when the kid's legs start knocking the jumps down....

So this is Prim. She is well known in the local area as an absolute cracker of a pony. She's done everything in grade 4 and 5 at pony club over the past 4.5 years, and done it well.... dressage, show jumping, cross country and showing. So many wonderful memories!

Prim is a great size at just under 14hh, and is 16 years old. Registered as Elm Tree Primadonna, she is a Part Bred Welsh by Balgower Maverick/ Bimbadeen Amber.

Easy to float, trim (happy barefoot), and file teeth.
Prim is NOT a beginner's pony, but is a seriously fun pony for a small adult or a competent child's second pony.

Prim is looking for a new partner who loves to embrace the active lifestyle!

A lucky find by an astute purchaser!

Relegated to paddock ornament status for a few years, this 12yo black warmblood has recently resumed work at Taminga. Aptly named "Devine ", he has a beautiful rhythmic, swinging trot, and should hopefully entice the dressage judges to reach for those extra marks!

Ginger is that wonderful allrounder mare who can be ridden by the whole family, from the grade 5 or 6 pony club beginner to the parent joining in on the group trail ride. Looking for a dependable horse to check the stock or fences?....Ginger can do the job.
This mare has done low level pony club, show and cross country jumping, trail riding and lessons. She is approx 14.1hh, and 16 years old.

Beautiful calm nature. Experienced HRCAV, clinics, solo and group trail riding. Also used for beginners on lead. Will do a very neat dressage test to grade 3. Message Taminga Equestrian.

Introducing Willow. A vibrant Welsh/Arab mare. 13yo, and standing just under 14hh, which puts her in that wonderful height range suiting both small adults and children.

Forget the myth of the infamous chestnut mare...this little lady is all class! Willow has had extensive experience as an adult riding club mount. She's attended many lessons and has enjoyed pole work clinics. Willow is a brilliant trail riding horse, being well behaved whether by herself or in company.

Willow has been used for leading beginners and would be a perfect second pony. She can work sweetly on the bit, and can perform a neat dressage test up to grade 3/ preliminary level.

His prospective rider has been having weekly lessons on her pony, and is itching to partner this wonderful Connemara.

Surely the greatest reward for starting horses in their journey as a ridden horse is watching them grow in a successful partnership.

Raindance is pictured in 2011, just 3 weeks under saddle, when he was around 15hh. Now standing closer to 17hh, Dancer recently returned for another visit. He has progressed to training at medium level and is playing with flying changes and piaffe.

Proof of the many hours of thoughtful training and care from his best friend and owner, Pom McKenzie.

A very lucky pony has found her way to a loving home!
Ballynamona Halo left today to begin her new life. She was started under saddle at Taminga at the start of last year, and won many hearts during her time here.
Halo will learn lots of things with Linda, including bush riding, working equitation and pleasure riding. She'll also introduce Linda's nieces to the joys of ponies and riding.
Finding such a brilliant home certainly makes saying goodbye easier.
