SAD NEWS ABOUT THE HUB MARKET

The Lions Club of Manning River has made the very difficult decision to cease running the monthly Hub Market.

We took over the running of the Market in 2005 and have coordinated it at three venues over that time. We began at Taree Racecourse, then moved to the Taree Showground and finally for the last two years have been holding it at Wingham Showground. The members would like to thank these three organisations for their assistance and support over the last 19 years.

We also say a very big “Thank you”, to all the stallholders who have attended the Hub Market over this time. Some of the stallholders who were with us on our first day, were still attending on our last day. At one stage, the Hub consistently had over 100 stalls attending, but in recent years this has dropped off considerably.

We wish all stallholders all the best for the future.
