💙 A heartfelt thank you to our friends at Box Divvy, who have generously donated $10,000 to support livestock across the Mid North Coast.
Flood recovery doesn’t end when the waters subside — it's a long road, especially for farming families and their animals.

We’re working closely with Sydney University’s School of Veterinary Science, led by Dr John House, to direct these funds towards essential on-the-ground support. In the coming weeks, their dedicated team of vets will return to the region to assist with critical livestock services.

This donation means continued care for farmers’ herds while attempting to rebuild. Thank you, Box Divvy, for standing by our farmers when they need it most.

All of our dairy and meat sorted this week and I didn’t have to leave my home 🤩

We love our ‘Chilled’ delivery every Saturday. We get an email with an approximate time frame on Thursday. We get a text to let us know it’s 3 stops away on the day and then another text when it’s at the door. Plus if you really want to you can track where the truck is on the app.

Imperial Mandarins!

The dam has broken: Imperial mandarins from the southern growing regions in NSW and South Australia have gone from a trickle to a flood. On the small side perhaps, but making up in flavour and juice and sweetness. Oh, and price: $2.50 a kilo this week.

⭐️Sandhurst Marinated Artichokes⭐️

Ever heard of Artichoke Basille Pizza? It’s an institution in New York city, where people line up for…you guessed it: Artichoke Pizza. Who would have thought the humble artichoke would be the star?? But you can have one too – with this 170g jar of Sandhurst marinated artichokes. This pack size has been discontinued, and we bought the lot because the Best Before Date is not until 2027. And at $1.25 a jar, they are 63% cheaper than the equivalent pack in Colesworth.

Here are 10 artichoke ideas:
✔️Add them to your next pizza, with ham, mozzarella and olives
✔️Add them to a Greek salad with feta, tomatoes and olives.
✔️Add them to a Mediterranean charcuterie board, with olives, chargrilled capsicum and eggplant, salami and cheese
✔️Puree them with olive oil, garlic and parmesan cheese: makes a pesto-like pasta sauce
✔️Add them to a cheese melt: artichoke hearts and cheddar cheese on crunchy Shepherd’s Italian sourdough
✔️Add them to a marinara mix and toss over pasta.
✔️Add artichokes and Gorgonzola (or any other blue-vein cheese) to puff pastry, bake until the pastry is crunchy. Makes for a great snack.
✔️Puree them with olive oil, white wine vinegar, olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper to make the best-ever vinaigrette.
✔️Add them to smoked salmon, aioli and capers on a crunchy bread roll.
✔️Eat them straight from the jar.
