A few of the food highlights from Christmas. What was your favourite Chrismas food?

Handlers Turkey was so delicious! We stuffed the great with butter and dressed it with sage, rosemary, nutmeg and salt and pepper.
Crispy Sebago potatoes 😋😋😋
Handlers free range chicken. Hubby smoked it on the Weber BBQ with cherry wood.
And those cherries were also a treat! We are still enjoying our 2kg box.

Some homemade Christmas cake that the kids decorated with almonds 🤩

Last Chilled delivery for the year! We are all set for Christmas thanks to Box Divvy and all of our amazing suppliers.

Today was a record run for the he wonderful team at Box Divvy. There was a total of 22 runs out today, doing 1407 deliveries and a total of 7868 items were packed for these deliveries.

Thank you once again to the team! 🙌

As we close off another year at Box Divvy Farmborough Heights - Panorama I would like to take the time to thank all of our wonderful members for being part of this community. Thank you for supporting our farmers. Thank you for supporting my little family and choosing to Unsupermarket with us. You make this hub what it is and I’m so thankful for each and every one of you!

Who has been enjoying apricots this season?🙋‍♀️

We bought about a kg last week and I really should have just gotten the 5kg box instead 🤦‍♀️

What did we do with our kg of apricots? Made jam of course ☺️😋

Did you know that apricots are high in antioxidants and potassium? I used to eat lots of these over summer while marathon training. A great source of electrolytes 👌🏻

Who has been enjoying the trays of truss tomatoes? 🙋‍♀️

This week we made roast tomato soup which was super delicious and an easy dinner on a busy night.

Yesterday we made Margaret Fulton’s tomato relish 😋 and now we have just enough to make another batch for gifts.

I’ll post the recipes in comments.

Our lovely member Janelle says “How beautiful are the 5 kilo tray of truss tomatoes 🍅 and the aroma is amazing. We're going to use the majority of them to make passata sauce, some for brushetta, some for salads, and of course some for my favourite good old toasted tomato sandwiches. 😋😋😋 I'm hoping they're on again next week because I'll definitely be buying more. 😃”

Tonight we had the bulk Beef rump cap (Brazilian Picanha) steak on the bbq 👌🏻

Hubby slices the rump into thick 1 1/2 inch slices and then rubs with olive oil and seasons well. He then pops it on the bbq and it always turns out amazing! Once he has let the steaks rest, he then slices it up into thinner slices for everyone. It was so tender and delicious 😋

Served with our Box Divvy asparagus, bbq corn and some roast potatoes. This rump always last our family for two meals.

Don’t forget that this week is our last chilled order for the year. Time to stock up on all of your favourite bbq meats for summer 😋

E Fresco Antipasto (Chilled only)

Earlier in the week, Box Divvy launched a range of antipasto from Melbourne-based AusFresh. The range includes stuffed olives, sun-dried tomatoes, antipasto and feta cubes. The 185g tubs for between $3.45 and $4.14, which is 20-36% cheaper than the equivalent product in the major supermarkets.

The olives stuffed with feta in particular is to die for, and the green olives with chilli and garlic is also popular.
