Well last weekends Training days were a big hit as always. The weather was great for riding and having a fire at night. Thanks to members Hitomi and Ricci for the kebabs on the fire Saturday night and to Jamie for the great Sunday breakfast. Geoff's lessons on Saturday and Chris's lessons on Sunday were well received with everyone coming away with more confidence and knowledge. Love this club ❤️. Sorry I didn't get photo's of everyone but here's a few to show what we get up too.
Next Training weekend is September 28th and 29th. Please email if you would like a spot in a lesson.

Hi to all our next training weekend is fast approaching on the 24th &25th of August. We have 12 spots in the 2 Geoff Blacklock clinics on Saturday the 24th these are very popular so book early.
Chris Maudsley will do her pairs lessons on Sunday morning from 7:30am to 11:00 am and booking are essential.
Please book via email for both clinics as it makes it much simpler to coordinate.

Another great weekend was had at working eq's July weekend. The weather was just perfect, the Geoff Blacklock lessons were great as always, the Mexican themed dinner was so yummy with Margaritas to top it off, everyone got in a couple of rides too. What more could we ask for what a fantastic way to spend a weekend. Didn't get a lot of photos so I've pinched a few of Helen's 😅.
Special thanks to Jamie for being so amazing even if things don't always go to plan 🥰.

Another great weekend was had at Working Equitation FNQ, always great to see so many riders getting into the clinics with Geoff on Saturday and Chris on Sunday everyone gets so much out of the lessons. Had the mechanical cow Working under lights. We had a meeting so a great spread was put out to nibble on with a wonderful fire to finish the night off. What a great way to spend a weekend. Love our club and all the members in it 😁

We will also have a general meeting on Saturday at 5pm and all members are encouraged to attend as we have some exciting things to discuss for the club moving forward.

We have just held the 2nd event for the year and what a wonderful weekend it was. There was a variety of horse activities. We had a great obstacle course set up to practice on, Geoff Blacklock on Saturday running lessons. Towards the evening treated to some live music from Jim with a beautiful stallion from Cristogracia stud doing a nice workout to the tunes. On Sunday we had Chris from Cristogracia giving beginner lessons on classical dressage which was also another wonderful thing on offer.
At night it's always a highlight to sit around to chat and even have some live music and a good fire. I didn't get a lot of photos so if anyone has any they want to add to this post please do so 😆.

Our next training weekend is only 12 sleeps away, last month was so fantastic so much fun and 12 new members. We have expanded Geoff Blacklock to 2 X 3 hour clinics on the Saturday with 6 people in each clinic.
I look forward to receiving your nominations for the weekend.

Well that's a wrap on the first Working eq weekend. It started a bit damp but that didn't stop everyone that came along for a fun filled weekend. We had 8 riders join in the Geoff Blacklock clinic. While others tried out the obstacles and the mechanical cow. It was great to see previous members return and new members come along to enjoy time with their beautiful horses. So welcome one and all to a great 2024 🐎🐴😁

Wow we are almost out of this crazy wet season. It’s time to dust off the saddles and get back on your horse for another great year with Working Equitation. Come and join our family friendly non fuss approach to enjoying a partnership with your horse. We are hoping to start the year with a Geoff Blacklock clinic to help iron any bugs out of your horses for the start of the year.

I hope that everyone came through the pre Christmas devastation without to much damage and that your beautiful horses have not suffered in the last couple of weeks of horrible heat.

What an amazing weekend at Tepon, our final weekend for the year. We had a fancy dress theme and the effort by many participants was awesome as you can see in the photos. We had the privilege of 2 mares and 2 stallions attend from Cristogracia Andalusian stud. They gave a demonstration of there in hand warm up routine with the stallions and then rode the course.
A massive shout out to Guardian Horse Products from Dexter Park in Gordonvale for there generous donation of prises.
Hope to see everyone next March for the start of the year.

To all this is a public notification for the upcoming AGM for the Committee of Working Equitation FNQ for year 2024. All pre nominations for committee are to be to the secretary no later then Wednesday the 11th of October via email.

On the 2nd and 3rd September was working equitations training weekend and we got to try out the new gate its our latest addition which was made possible by the Mount Emerald windfarm grant. We had a great weekend with some new riders coming along to try out what working eq has to offer. It's always such a relaxing experience with fun around the camp-fire at night. Thanks to everyone who attended. Look out for the October weekend as it'll be the final one for the year details will be sent out soon 😁

Well another fun weekend of Working Equitation is done and dusted for the month of July. Got to meet some new friends who came along to give it a try and loved our relaxed fun environment in the great setting of Tepon. Sani joined us yesterday and showed us her amazing skills as a vaulter pretty cool to see. Thanks as always to Jamie and Lee for setting the course and getting the gear out be lost without you guys 🥰. See you all again on the 12th and 13th August. 🐎🐎
