This week our Pet of the Week goes to the beautiful Remy!
Remy unfortunately needed surgery after hurting his knee but is recovering well and was very happy when he came in to the clinic on his first post op check up.
We all adore Remy and he is very deserving of Pet of the Week!

Dear Friends,

Please bare with us in this time of crisis!

As a result of a visiting student testing positive for covid on Thursday evening (27th Jan) the clinic was shut yesterday and today for complete deep cleaning from top to bottom.

Subsequently, all staff have been tested and three of us are now in isolation. All three positive staff members worked with the infected student on Tuesday the 25th of January.

Please, if you attended the clinic on either Tuesday or Thursday and you feel unwell go and get tested.

The negative remaining staff will continue to be regularly tested to ensure your safety.

Please be assured that every thing is being done to ensure your safety while still providing a veterinary service for your furry friends

The clinic will be open again on Monday with skeleton staffing in teams for the next fortnight.

Again I ask to please be patient with us as some non-urgent appointments may need to be rescheduled due to staff shortages.

Kindest regards

jason

⭐️ Introducing our nursing staff ⭐️

Next up we have Mikayla

Mikayla is one of our full time nurses. She has been working here at AHVS for 2.5 years and loves the variety of species she gets to see each day. Her favourite part of the job is assisting the vets with surgical procedures, in particular cesarean sections. She loves forming connections with both clients and their pets and strives to provide the best care possible for your furry babies.

Mikayla is known to be a sucker for a stray kitten (or two!!) having fostered some strays brought into the clinic over the years. She has three spoilt pets of her own, two ‘failed’ foster cats and a toy poodle. In her spare time she enjoys keeping active with a passion for athletics and sprinting.
