🎄🥂 December/January Foals🎄🥂

Well that’s the end of our 2024 foaling season!
And we’ve gone out with a bang 🥳 being blessed with 4/5 fillies in December.

💕 Arakoola Pride of Erin has a cracker filly by Adios Cherokee. A proper performance mare in the making in this filly!

🌶️ Seven Peppers (TB) has a lovely C**t by our young sire Arakoola Cattleman HSH. This handsome fellow will go grey and will make a lovely show or performance gelding.

🏆 Arakoola Grace has a beautiful filly by Smooth Criminal - she’s got style this little girl! And 4 white socks! Born on Xmas Eve, she will be Arakoola Eve 🏆

💫 Silverthorn Juliet has seen fit to finally give us a filly and at 24yo we were starting to think it wasn’t going to happen! Cotton wool for this precious one! A simply beautiful dark brown filly by Arakoola Jazzman.

💎 Arakoola Eleanor has the most petite beautiful little filly to finish us up for the year, by Smooth Criminal. Welcome Arakoola Capri 💎

Breathing a sigh of relief after a much less eventful breeding season than last year. Very happy with the foals by our new sire Gatton UQ Smooth Criminal and also Arakoola Cattleman (Jim Craig’s) first foal is as nice as anticipated. Fingers crossed for smooth sailing for the summer months. And if you’ll be after a lovely weanling gelding, it’s well worth coming to peruse the boys,they are a very handsome crop this year!

🐴 November Foals 💫
Things were busy in November! We’ve welcomed some beautiful babies this month.
We have foals by 3 of our stallions this month including our new exciting sire by Conman.

⭐️ Arakoola Sienna/Arakoola Tradition - chest c**t - a very fancy little fella
💝 Arakoola Mahogany/Arakoola Tradition - bay Filly - a lovely filly this one.
⭐️ Arakoola Evonne/ UQ Gatton Smooth Criminal (Conman) - chest c**t - the first foal by our new Stallion, this little man was 3 weeks early but he is flourishing.
⭐️ Arakoola Ella/Arakoola Jazzman - brown c**t - this one’s very handsome. SOLD
⭐️Arakoola Delta/Arakoola Tradition - chest c**t - a very showy boy this one!
💝 Arakoola Elegance/Smooth Criminal - chest filly - a feisty little miss this one, Elle is the first Tradition mare we’ve bred a foal out of and we’re stoked with this girl.

💥These boys will be available upon weaning, there are some very competitive potential performance horses among them 💥

🌼 The George Family also welcomed a lovely stylish filly by Smooth Criminal out of Yan Yean Silhouette.

As we swing into the 2024 breeding season, it’s always important to ask ourselves a simple question: what have we learned from the past that might benefit us in the future?

It’s fairly simple.

Nothing compares with the staggering success of Hazelwood Conman and his brutal domination of every aspect of the Australian performance horse industry.

Let’s face it: you don’t even have to examine the statistics to know that Conman has completely dominated the : campdraft arena - and now the sale ring as well.

Why did it happen?
