Yesterday we celebrated the end of year Christmas party/awards for the Kilcoy Cow Horse Club. It’s been a great year for myself and Alana competing there, we’ve both been lucky to come away with places throughout the year in both the 2 handed cutting and the stockmans challenges.

Alana has had an amazing year on ‘Yulgilbar Ima Cowgirl’ , overall champion in the Encouragement Two Handed Cutting and Reserve Champion in the Encouragement Stockmans Challenge over the 5 rounds of the buckle series for each event of the year . Alana also placed 3rd overall in the Open Cutting beating my 5th place on Luna as well .
So proud of these 2 and how far they have come together.

Can’t thank Linda and all of the Kilcoy Cowhorse Club enough for all the events and fun times we’ve had there this year.
We’d like to thank all of the judges and sponsors as well for everything that they do .
Can’t wait to bring a new team of horses down and have a great year next year as well.

2025 at Kilcoy Cow Horse Club has been mapped out! We have plenty of events and clinics already locked in, with more clinics hopefully added throughout the year.

There are also small group cattle sessions on Fridays through to Sunday each week.
