Recently Mack, a beautiful 16 year old bull arab X dog, had smelly breath and a sore mouth so after a visit with Dr Sarah, we decided we would perform a dental procedure. 🦷

Being a geriatric boy, we ran comprehensive blood tests and then planned and tailored his sedation and general anaesthesia specifically to cater for his age, condition and procedure. We monitored everything from his internal body temperature to his cardiac ECG, CO2 levels in his airway, heart rate, breathing rate and O2 levels in his blood. ❤️

His procedure and general anaesthesia went extremely well. He now has a bright pearly white smile and his breath is lovely! He is a wonderful example of how our older pets can benefit greatly from dental procedures. 😁

Sarah has known and cared for little Mako for many years now, their relationship is the ultimate blend of love and playful antics.

Despite his occasional diva moments there’s no denying that this tiny Chihuahua loves snuggling up close and cozy for a visit at Prestige Vets.

It’s a match made in pup heaven, a bit of spice, plenty of cuddles and just a hint of mischief.

We adore him 🖤

Never say never! We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic addition to our team! 🐾💖

We never thought we'd go this route, but when the opportunity arose to work with the incredibly talented, skilled, experienced and compassionate Ayrial, we couldn’t pass it up. 🌟✨

Ayrial, who has two young children, will be joining Sarah on Wednesdays to bring her exceptional skills and warmth to our practice.

For all of Sarah’s dedicated clients, don’t worry—she’ll still be your go-to vet and will continue to provide the same wonderful care you’ve come to know and love. Sarah is absolutely overjoyed to have someone as special as Ayrial to share her vet work with. They’re both like-minded and passionate about giving your pets the best care possible. 🐾❤

Our amazing nurse Sonia is stepping out of her role at Prestige vets, to be fully present in her key role with her family.

Sonia has brought so much love, dedication, determination and grit to her role here at Prestige Vets, she is a natural nurturer putting all people and animals surrounding her at ease.

We can’t thank her enough for her commitment and contribution, she has enriched all of our lives at Prestige.

Our door will remain wide open and our fingers crossed that we will see her back again in the future.

Sweet Marley 🌸

This absolute angel recently spent the better part of a week with us here in our clinic suite recovering from a terrible illness. While she must have felt pretty rotten, she was just so content during her stay, always lifting her leg for a little tummy rub and lapping up all the cuddles.

We worked alongside Marley's dedicated family and even though we loved having her with us here in clinic, we are just so happy to now see her back on her paws at home.

Marley, you stole all of our hearts and we're so glad you're feeling better! 🥰

Beautiful Gracie 🥰

Thanks to the dedicated and diligent care of her amazing owners, Gracie is living her best, happy and active life in her twilight years, at almost 15! 🐾

She's had a few issues this year with some renal impairment, but on her very special home cooked diet the disease has not only stopped progressing, her markers have actually improved. Great job!

We loved having her visit recently and thought the beautiful lights that surrounded her in the photos was just so fitting for this precious girl. 🌸🧚‍♀️

🐾 ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL! 🐾

Two of our very special patients from this week, on opposite ends of the size spectrum!

Beautiful Tak the Great Dane and precious Huey the Chihuahua were both in for procedures on the same day. They were both wonderfully behaved, but received very different kinds of cuddles! ❤

A bit of a sad post today...
We are hoping to find the owner/s of a beautiful Cat that was sadly found passed away after being hit by a vehicle close to Wildlife HQ in Palmwoods.

We have scanned the microchip and contacted the registered owner, but unfortunately the kitty has not been in their possession for many years, and they are unsure who the most recent owner would be.

If you are missing a 6yo Black and White, Male, Domestic Short Hair cat from the area, or know someone who is, please get in touch with us for further detail. 🐾❤️‍🩹

Precious Lilly 🌸

This beautiful girl is nearly 15 and has had such a big year with lots of vet visits, which is not ideal as she really doesn't like being away from her family.

Earlier this week Lilly was here for a minor procedure and decided that our lovely Jules was going to be her companion for the whole day.

Jules carried her everywhere and as long as they were together, Lilly was happy! We will make sure that if Lilly needs to spend anytime in the clinic away from her family in the future, Jules will be on duty that day. She has been chosen! 🥰

🐾WORLD VETERINARY DAY🐾

Our wonderful Dr Sarah always knew she wanted to be a vet, and is a true lover and advocate for all animals, great and small. 🐈🐒🐶

She loves her job, and more than just the animals, Dr Sarah loves and cares for the people who trust her to look after their precious ones .

Dr Sarah has dedicated her life to this purpose, and considers it an honour and a privilege to look after all the animals that come into her care, and we all consider it an honour and a privilege to work alongside her.

She is constantly inspiring us by learning more, doing more, and giving back more. Today and everyday, we are grateful for you Dr Sarah! 🥰

Way to go, Minnie!!! 🤩

This sweetheart is one half of the adorable pair, Minnie and Merlo. 💕

They have been battling long term skin and ear issues and together with their owner have been on quite the journey, to the point where Minnie was not happy about visiting clinics at all.

Thanks to their beautiful owners relentless dedication to getting them well, they have now been visiting with Dr Sarah, Jayney and their incredible nurses Jules and Sonia for a few months doing all they can as a team to get things sorted, especially with Minnie's ear which was quite bad.

We are so happy to be able to say that Minnie has now gotten the all clear for her ear, and the icing on the cake is that during that time she has come to LOVE her visits! 😍

What a good girl, we are so proud!🙌

Dodi, you're amazing! 🤩

This beautiful girl grew up living on the streets of Pakistan, and made her way into a better life when she was found by her incredibly dedicated owner Stacey, who then went to great lengths to bring her here to Australia. 💗

They have since been on a looooong health journey together, and to see her now so bright, smiling and on the mend makes us all very joyous ❤️‍🩹🐾

Meet Lilly, the Story Dog!

Have you heard of Story Dogs? This wonderful organisation arranges for special dogs and their owners to visit primary schools, volunteering their time to help children needing assistance with literacy.

Prestige Vets are so proud to be sponsoring Lilly to provide this service locally. She is such a sweet girl and with her calm and gentle nature it is easy to see how she is just perfect for the job. Thanks for bringing her in to meet us Sally, we love what you do!
