It’s been a while but the last few months have been filled with call outs for pythons, tree snakes and keelbacks

Here’s one from this arvo when a Red Bellied Black Snake (Pseudechis porphyriacus) got himself in a sticky situation at his local bottle-o in Burpengary.

Eventually got him unstuck and back off in the bush

Not a happy way to start the week.

Call out to a place in Ningi this afternoon for a snake at the back door that had been injured due to the home owners trying to move it on ,, with a shovel.

Unfortunately old adages involving garden tools die hard and this little Yellow-faced whip snake (Demansia psammophis) came off second best.

Yellow-face whip snakes are considered MILDLY VENOMOUS not dangerous to humans. This little fella has been taken to Australia Zoo for treatment so here’s hoping for a good outcome
