We would like to congratulate Sam Woods on the purchase of Eliva Barnaby! 🎉

It’s no secret that Barney is a bit quirky, but Sam has done a brilliant job bringing him up through the grades, even competing at Melbourne International 3DE this year.

Throughout this time, Sam has developed a fantastic partnership with Barney, and we’re thrilled to see it continue. We look forward to watching what these two will achieve together!

Eliva Copenhagen – “Cooper”
2-year-old gelding by Carlsberg E (Calgary GNZ x Budweiser) out of a Thoroughbred dam by I’m All The Talk.
DOB: 08/12/2022

Cooper has been a delight since birth and is currently in the process of being registered with the AWHA. He placed 6th nationally in this year’s AWHA Tour, judged by Helen Chugg, scoring an impressive 82.86%.

For the tour, Cooper was washed, rugged, and plaited for the first time—all of which he handled with remarkable maturity.

Although bred for jumping, Cooper has the looks and movement to excel in straight dressage or showing. He’s a clean slate, ready to be broken in.

This is a heartbreaking sale, as his dam was a horse my late grandad picked up for me. I’m only selling as I’ve decided not to continue riding as a sport and need to reduce numbers.

Eliva Zodiac – “Leo”

Leo is approximately 17hh, 6-year-old warmblood by Tulara Casciado, out of a Gymnastic Star dam. He has a cruisy attitude and wants to please.

Leo is truly bred to jump! His pedigree traces back to top international sires including Diarado (leading eventing sire), Diamant de Semilly, Contango, and Casall. His sire, Tulara Casciado is placing in Mini Prix classes and up to 1.40m. His progeny are known to have great temperaments, some placing in 1.35m classes and achieving top results in multiple Young Horse classes.

His dam line is equally impressive. Gymnastic Star has produced multiple FEI-level progeny up to 5* eventing and Grand Prix dressage.

Leo was given time to mature before being broken in as a 5-year-old by Sam Woods, then further developed by Shenae Lowings and now training under 4* event rider Olivia Shore. Leo has competed 80cm in eventing and 90cm show jumping. Leo is a bold, careful jumper who consistently makes a good shape. We believe he would be suited to an eventing home but his talent will best shine in the show jumping ring! Although Leo is a lovely quiet horse he requires a competent rider to further his education.

The Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) tour results are in 🎉

Starting with our 2yo geldings coming in 4th and 6th in Australia!

Eliva HezaPleasure (bay)
Out of our thoroughbred mare Sheza Scandal, by Future Sport Horses Future Guilty Pleasure, Heza scored an 83.59%, only 0.36% behind 3rd in Australia. This lovely guy received comments on overall type and will definitely be one to watch for the future.

Eliva Copenhagen (brown/black)
Out of a thoroughbred mare by I’m All The Talk, by a Calgary GNZ stallion, Cooper wasn’t too far behind his fraternal brother placing 6th in Australia with an 82.86%. He received comments about his balance.

Eliva Calibre certainly put on a show for the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) tour judged by Helen Chugg!

Chilli scored PLATINUM with 85.71% with interim results, she is currently placed 🥈in Australia for Weanling Female (pending assessment of two QLD weanlings delayed due to weather)

Her half sister is currently for sale through The Sporthorse Network. Currently being registered with the AWHA, Lyla placed 🥉in the Australian WPRB Led 2- and 3-Year-Old class during the 2024 tour, judged by Olympic eventer Bettina Hoy

Our first foal out of Eliva Frontier.

Currently being registered with the AWHA, Lyla placed 🥉in the Australian WPRB Led 2- and 3-Year-Old class during the 2024 tour, judged by Olympic eventer Bettina Hoy.

Her half-sister placed 🥇in the Australian Open Led Weanling Female class and was awarded WA Reserve Champion Open Led Horse during the same tour.

Another half-sister scored PLATINUM with 85.71% in the 2025 tour, judged by Helen Chugg. With interim results, she is currently placed 🥈in Australia for Weanling Female (pending assessment of two QLD weanlings delayed due to weather)

Some highlights from the Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) Tour last Friday! ✨

We had an amazing day with not only a Platinum foal but all 4 entries scoring 80% or above!

Eliva Calibre - 85.71% PLATINUM

Out of our thoroughbred mare Eliva Frontier by Carlsberg E. Half sister to Noblewood Blackjack who last year, placed 1st in Australia with a 75.71% in the Open Led Weanling Female and WA Reserve Champion Open Led Horse. Also half sister to Eliva Special who placed 3rd in the WRB Led 2 and 3 year old class last year! Eliva Frontier produces the most lovely foals!

Out of Orange Hill Jellybean who’s by one of the top eventing sire’s Grafenstolz, by our stallion Noblewood Contarli Diamantino. The heat certainly got to “Elle” as she didn’t have that s***k about her! Also in an aweful coat stage which didn’t matter how much you brushed it! Noblewood Contarli Diamantino produces such lovely and correct types.

Lovely Leo adding no jumping penalties in the 80cm at Sydney 2 weekends ago 🥰

Leo is definitely a stable favourite both in WA and NSW and we love watching him under guidance of Olivia Shore!

With the upcoming Australian Warmblood Horse Association (AWHA) tour, we thought we would share the results of last year…better late than never right? 😅

Noblewood Blackjack or “Luna” was the 2024 Australian open lead weanling filly and Reserve champion open lead horse in WA scoring a 75.71% by Olympic Eventer, Bettina Hoy, who was marking considerably harder than previous judges.

Sired by Noblewood Studs Casino Royal she is out of our thoroughbred mare Eliva Frontier (Lyonnais x Patronize)

Missy (Eliva Frontier) also had her 3yo filly, Eliva Special (I’m special de muze) place 3rd in Australia WPRB Led 2 and 3 year old in 2024 on a 72.14%

Both out of the same dam, Missy has foaled another cracking chestnut filly with bling this year and we look forward to seeing her score!

Our first foal of the season was a surprise when she arrived a fiery orange with plenty of bling, quite the contrast to her two relatively plain bay parents 🍊

Mum (Eliva Frontier) and the bub made it home safely today, and now she just needs a name 🤔

Eliva Eventing

We are very proud of our firstborn foal, Eliva Zodiac!
(Tulara Casciado x Gymnastic Star), with bloodlines tracing back to sires such as the leading eventing sire Diarado (Diamanté De Semilly) and Casall.

At 5 years old, “Leo” was broken in earlier this year. Last weekend, he successfully completed his first event in the EvA 80cm at Equestriad, piloted by Shenae Lowings Eventing.

Starting with a dressage score of 32.2 and a clear showjumping round, Leo only added a baby stop on cross-country and some time penalties to his dressage score.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for this promising boy!
