We had visitors - my little sister & niece, sponsored riders Katie & Tiffany were put to work for their herbs 😬 but they also assisted in preparing some products for me since I had hand surgery today and will be out of commission for a few weeks. Luckily, my daughters Shyann and Natalia will be helping with orders during this time.

A few changes happening here at Browns hopefully for the good 😜 it has been a huge adjustment running the business, I’ve been juggling the business and working full time (not 9-5 but crazy hours) only having Thursday’s and every 2nd weekend to run Browns. I’ve been a swimming instructor/receptionist for nearly 13 years which I love, but I’ve decided to take a step back (I will still be getting my toes wet but just a little less 🏊) and I’m jumping head first in a different direction which is going to allow me more time to run Browns Animal Herbals🐴 oh and hopefully in all of that I might actually have time for my very supportive family 🥰

This weekend Sues granddaughter attended Bronte Webbs pony club clinic. Natalia and Sassy worked beautifully together and jumped up to 90cm, so great to see Sues grandaughter and the horse Sue bred and broke going so well together💜

Today was the 1st time Sue’s granddaughter Natalia competed since losing Nanny, Nanny was her biggest supporter, who come to all her competitions, so I knew today would be tough. Last night nanny sent a sign in the form of a lolly bag Natalia found while packing the truck it was from her last competition with Nanny cheering her on and she wrote a beautiful poem about it. With that sign Natalia went out today with nanny’s socks on for luck. Natalia also proudly rides True Shades of Sass (who is a Tb chestnut mare who lives up to her name) a horse Nanny bred with all that natalia went out today positive, happy and smashed it with many personal bests 2x1st in her jumping, 3x1st and a 3rd in sporting, 1st in pairs, 4th riding class, 3rd in handler and an encouragement sash in the riding ring. I for one am super proud of her achievement she’s worked really hard with Sassy and it shows today and I know Nanny was watching and cheering her on 💜

Hello all, Katie here Sue's youngest daughter. Sponsored rider Jorja Clarke, competed this weekend at Werribee PC HT. She competed my horse Blue Street Bandit, in the open Grade 4. Bandit is one of Mum's home-bred horses. As a tribute to Mum, she wore Mum's old racing silks. Mum was with them today, guiding them to a clear xc round. They finished their weekend on their dressage score of 82.5, to finish in 4th place.

Jorja has had a great start to the season, riding Olivia at FOW HT a month ago in the 1*. Coming home with 5th place. Then 2 weeks ago at Spring HT, Olivia came home with 3rd in the 1*. And Bandit came home with 5th, in the 65.

Great start to the season Jorja, look forward to the rest of the season.

Hello my name is Stacey and I’m Sue’s daughter, Mum is very unwell and is in the ICU in Canberra Hospital, so I’ll be helping run the business while Mum fights a serious illness, please bare with me I’ve always helped Mum with the business but as the bookkeeper/accountant with occasional help in packing and sending orders.
In between Canberra trips to see Mum, looking after Dad, my own family and work, I will get to orders, phone calls and messages as soon as I can. Kind regards Stacey
