A lady has gone into emergency housing and can’t take her kittens with her.

Both Girls
Ginger is 8 months old
Tabby Girl is 11 months old

Good morning

I still can’t believe how well Harry sits on my lap and takes his fluids every day, day he is such a good little man.

I May have a little bit of good news but I don’t want to jinx myself but looking at Harry the tumour seems less aggressive and looks smaller, and when I feel it from the outside it also seems smaller.

I Will know more on Friday once he has his vet appointment and his second cancer vaccine and maybe a debulk of the tumour, I will just wait to see what Dr Susan thinks.

I’ve been praying so hard for him and maybe my prayers are being answered.

I just have to stay optimistic and positive for Harry 💕

Priscilla‘s journey

This beautiful little girl came to me as a very wild street Cat that was going to be trapped neutered and released, until I said I will give it a go at taming her.

She was only 5 months old but she was beyond wild and crazy and I had thought to myself what have I taken on.

Well here we are three years later, I can finally touch her and even pick her up.
This is why it’s so challenging rescuing the wild ones off the street and it’s part of the reason why I have so many in care.

I’ve been called all sorts of horrible names and have been called a hoarder but no one understands I take the cats that no one else wants, and that is not criticism to people that don’t take wild cats on, it just means they don’t have the time or the space to do so.

A lot of the cats in my care have all taken 3 to 5 years to come around but hey it’s been worth it and just looking at Priscilla now I would have done it all over again.

I’m very hopeful that one day Priscilla will find that one special person that is willing to adopt her. She is still a little bit scared and wary but nothing like she was when she first came to me..

I’m sharing these beautiful cats for one of my rescue peers please have a read and give them a share to help them find a forever home❤️

Mario and Luigi are my long term fosters and are now ready for the next stage and new people to love them. Can be foster or foster to adopt.
They are very bonded brothers who are 4 years old, rescued from the streets as scared, very young adults. They have thrived in care. They are very environmentally confident and we use treats to be able to pat them and work on their socialisation. Mario, the warm tabbly on left in first photo, will let us pat him when he is in one of his beds and he purrs for me regularly. Luigi is still hesitant but I can pat him when giving treats and sometimes he will accept a short pat on his bed.
So they need someone with patience who is willing to nurture them and gain trust with treats over time. They are actually really good with our young grandsons who are little cat whisperers and very gentle with the cats. They are gentle cats and very nice company.

Little Harry update …

He’s been such a good boy, he actually just sits still on my lap while I give him fluids under the skin to keep him hydrated.He just knows that I’m trying to make him better.

Dr Susan is going to de bulk the tumour again on Friday to give him a fighting chance and time for the cancer treatment to work.

I’ve also added what I have spent so far out of the money raised for Harry for his treatment

Poor little Harry isn’t eating today, so I had to give him some fluids.

Please pray my little man feels better tomorrow as he has been eating well but I think he is feeling a little off today.

Tomorrow is cancer meds day again so hopefully he will feel better🙏

He is such a sweet Boy and enjoyed big cuddle time with me, I had to wrap him to keep him still whilst I have him some fluids with Vitamin B in it.

Please watch this watch this beautiful rescue story of Mother and Daughter that I rescued from the Western Suburbs of Sydney from a man’s place that could no longer look after his 12 cats. Tallulah was due to give birth in about a week and little sissy never left her side. In the first clip of the video you will see Sissy comforting her mother through labour, it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever witnessed.

These beautiful girls are still together and are looking for the perfect home where they can live together for the rest of their lives.

Everything went well today with Harry. He had his injection and he started his cancer medication.

He doesn’t need any MEDS until Monday so he can stay out of his cage and hang out with his friends.

I think young Mr. Pickles is warming up to me. He’s been such a scared little Kitty😽 for so long but he watches as the other play and interact with me and I think he’s beginning to think “ Hey I want some of that “ lol

Sadly, Harry isn’t too happy with me because I’ve had to contain him in a cage until his vaccine is ready. I have to do this to give him his medication otherwise he would just run from me and I have to give it to him twice a day.

I heard from Dr. Weir, and he has received Harry’s biopsy and is starting to grow Harry’s unique vaccine. This procedure can take 3 to 4 days to grow it from his biopsy sample.

Thank you to everybody that donated we managed to raise $1400 but out of that Harry gets $1360

This amount will cover the $750 for the vaccines and his 1st Biopsy.

I still have to raise a little more for another appointment with the vet and his oncologist to get his new medication that goes with the vaccine which is called Palladia

Harry is currently on steroids for the pain and he’s eating well he just not happy being in the cage but he is getting lots of love

Do I have anybody in the Fairfield Sydney area that can catch this little girl?

As you know, Matthew has been helping catch the cats in the wreckers yard but he is being admitted into hospital today and will be out of action for a few weeks.

I have a beautiful lady who is interested in adopting this little girl, but it’s proving hard to catch you as she only turns up randomly.

Because Matthew doesn’t work there any more, he relies on getting a call from his ex workmates when she turns up but by the time he gets there, she’s gone.

If anybody can help with this little baby girl, please let me know.

My name is Maui and I need someone to help me, my elderly owner passed away suddenly and now I’m alone and have no family to take me and no where to go.

I’m 10 years old and I’m a very loving and friendly little lady. I’m currently being fed by one of the neighbours at my home in Cammeray Sydney Australia, but Im very sad and need a family to love me and look after me.

I’m a little timid around other animals and I’m very scared of dogs as I was attacked by a dog. I guess I would get used to another kitty like myself in time.

Would anyone have room in their home for me ? As I’m running out of time 💔

Thank you to everyone that has donated so far to raise the cancer treatment money for Harry he deserves to have a chance to beat this cancer and go on to find his forever home.

He has raised $1000 so far which covers the vaccines from Dr Chris Weir at the university. I still need to raise $500 to cover the second biopsy of the tumour and his cancer drug Palladia

His first biopsy is on its way the Dr Weir and he will grow a vaccine for Harry.

the treatment is immunotherapy which is a personalised cancer vaccine that would harness Harry’s natural defences. A biopsy is used to capture Harry’s unique antigens from the surface of his tumour cells, & they are then used in a vaccine to train his immune system to recognise and attack his cancer. This is a very new treatment but has been used with some success here in Australia for both people and dogs, & most recently for several cats. It can also be used in conjunction with other medicines such as Palladia. While there can be no guarantees with cancer, this offers Harry a real chance to challenge this

I struggle to bring you this heartbreaking post as I lay here this morning still in absolute heartbreak and shock.

Yesterday was a morning like every other morning I get up and I worry about going into the Cat room until I see that everybody is accounted for and okay.

I fed everybody like normal and I saw Chanel she was eating, and she was happy.

I then went to my friends mother‘s funeral and when I got home I went straight in to check them and I noticed Chanel on the bed not moving, thinking she was asleep I walked over and saw she had passed away. She looked like she was sleeping and I just stood there in shock for about 5 mins and couldn’t make sense of this cruel occurrence.

I have not slept all night and just held her and told her how much she was loved. I’m in complete shock, besides having her teeth removed over a year ago she has never been sick not even cat flu.

This is so unfair and I’m not ok, she was such a beautiful innocent little soul and I have absolutely no idea what happened. She just looked like she was asleep. She was only eight years old.

I was in the church yesterday for the funeral and I said a special prayer to God to watch over all my cats and I’m in shock that this would happen even after I made this special prayer for all my cats in the shelter .

RIP my beautiful Sweet Heart it seems you were too good for this earth.

I have created this Gofundme to try and give Harry a chance at beating this cancer, this isn’t chemo as it doesn’t work that well on what Harry has.

It’s a new medical treatment that has many success stories. I was contacted by one of my beautiful followers who has a cat going through what Harry is going through right now and it has worked for her kitty which is so amazing.

I am asking if you could all help me raise the funds to help give him a chance.

His life started in a horrendous way and I don’t want the end of his life to end the same way.

The vaccine is only $800 but I need to raise the other $700 which will be for the minor surgery to get the biopsy’s etc

Do we have an experienced carer for a pregnant little stray that urgently needs our help ? Ryde/ Hills Area

Reese update Little Reese ( who we mistakenly recorded as Hershey in our previous post oops) has come home from the vet and is doing pawsum. It’s hard to say just how excited we are to see this little fellow gorging on food and looking bright eyed. The amazing vets at Animal Referral hospital believe Reese had a bad gastrointestinal infection which left him very dehydrated and not eating. He lost almost half his body weight But look at him now.... hearing those licking sounds- joy to our ears. Reese now has to put back on the weight he lost and then catch up to a normal weight before he can go up for adoption. Onwards and upwards for this stunning kitty thanks to our always amazing supporters who reached into their pockets to assist with the veterinary fees..... and a big slurp from Reese.
