I like the look of this ram........

Very happy with our purchase of Lot 12 Nomuula 220084 at todays Eastern Region Sale, a very stylish stud ram with plenty of sire appeal. Looking forward to seeing what he brings to our breeding program. Well done to Cherilyn Lowe on putting together another great line up of rams, and congrats on claiming the Top Price White Dorper ram title.

The beginning.......

Welcome to my page!

My name is Huon and i have grown up with this great breed of sheep, the Dorper. My parents haved owned and run Bradan Dorpers since 2007.

After assisting my parents with their Dorper stud i have always wished for my own. I was lucky enough to travel to Amarula Dorper Stud, Gravesend, NSW, to complete my first School Kids Dorpers Course. Justin and Lorroi Kirkby taught me so much, i really enjoyed it.

Finally my love and enthusiasm had payed off and in 2017 i purchased my first 4 Dorpers ewes, from the successful stud, Global Dorpers, at their dispersal sale. Special thanks to Cherilyn Lowe who acted on my behalf as bidder and also purcahsed 1 of the ewes as a gift for me. I was also lucky enough to purchase 2 more ewes at the 2017 Dell Dumisa African on property sale.
