Did you know: Our charity raises funds through grants and donations to provide free or subsidised participation in our 8 or 10-week Equine Learning Programs.

93% of program fees goes directly into program delivery, with 7% covering essential admin, enabling us to serve even more communities.

As we canter into 2025, our dedicated and highly qualified ELF's offer the HWYP early intervention youth programs at the following beautiful locations.

Horse Whispering Youth Program are taking bookings now for Term 1 of 2025. Don’t miss out.

We are excited to be delivering this program in 2025.

Hold onto your horses – Term 1 bookings are now open, and referrals are already galloping in!

Horse Whispering Youth Program has expanded to serve communities across the Tweed & SEQ. Now available at 9 equine hubs in Piggabeen (Tweed Valley), Bonogin and Maudsland (GC), Logan Village and Carbrook (Logan), Ipswich, Moreton Bay and Cootharaba and Yandina Creek in Sunshine Coast.

We’re thrilled to offer partially funded and fully funded placements in select locations for term. These funded positions are limited and strict eligibility criteria apply.

This unique, early intervention program uses equine-assisted learning to support disengaged youth aged 10-16. (We can support from the ages of 8 upwards by enquiry)

Don't get stuck with your head in the hay... please speak to your guidance officer, family support service or school counselor and ask them to refer by 25 November to secure a spot.

Kindly spread the word, term 4 currently have 80 youth participants! That's 14 groups at 6 SEQ and Tweed Valley locations.
Term 1 2025 we aim to support more than 100 youth through the amazing work by our Equine Learning Facilitators. That's 18 groups at 9 Locations! Keeping group sizes small and facilitator & youth interaction our number 1 focus.

Rosie showed such courage riding bareback with no hands! The joy in her smile spoke volumes—I'm so proud she took on the challenge!

Pip made our heart sing today to see him having so much fun in the dam.

Sharing some not-so-graceful moments from today’s lesson with the amazing Geraldine! Mr. Pip was feeling extra exuberant with his flying lead changes, determined to get himself on the right canter lead. It wasn’t perfect, but that’s all part of the journey!

Dallas's turn to canter Pip on a loose rein. They did wonderfully together. Pip is becoming more confident in holding himself up and becoming more balanced.

Lisa and Mr. Pip have been working on cantering with a loose rein and no steering to encourage Pip to develop self-carriage without relying on the rider to hold him up. Over the past few weeks, students have been focusing on this with Pip, mostly at a trot, as he tends to lean heavily on the reins. At first, this exercise caused Pip considerable anxiety, as he struggled with balance while cantering on a loose rein.

Izzi is having fun with Tao, the super pony.

Today, 7-year-old Erin had an impressive walk-to-canter transition on Zane. Having only ridden him once a few months ago, she adapted beautifully to him during the session. What a dynamo!
