If you’ve noticed your chooks have slowed down on the laying lately, you’re not alone!
🐔This time of year, chickens are going through their autumn moult. They may lose a lot of feathers and go off the lay while the daylight hours are shorter.
Increasing the protein in their diet is a great way to support them through this stage - and mealworms are a perfect addition to keep your girls happy and healthy!
🪱 Dried mealworms and bugs are high in protein, and hand feeding treats like this is also a great way to bond with your chooks! They’ll certainly thank you for this!
