🚨 EVENT POSTPONED 🚨

To prioritize the safety of our customers, suppliers, and animals, we have made the decision to postpone our charity fundraising and education event for tomorrow.

Given that the weather conditions are expected to deteriorate, we felt it necessary to reschedule.

While we are truly saddened by this decision, we believe it is the most responsible choice for everyone's well-being.

Please stay tuned for an announcement regarding a new date soon. πŸ—“οΈ

WHY WE GO BLUE TO END BULLYING... πŸ’™

Dolly's Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14year old daughter.

Seven years ago, their lives changed forever when they lost their beautiful daughter Dolly.
From that heartbreak, a powerful movement emerged -Dollys Dream. Inspired by Dollys spirit and fuelled by hope and Doll’s favourite colour blue they set out on a mission to create a kinder, safer world for every child.

What began as a personal journey has grown into a nationwide movement of kindness and action, driven by the unwavering support of people like you.

By joining us in GOING BLUE on Do It For Dolly Day, May 9th, 2025 you're heping grow awareness of Dolly's Dream programs and services, empowering families, schools, and communities from its harmful effects, both online and offline.

"This is a movement we wish we never had to start...
and we won't stop until the bullying stops". - Kate and Tick Everett.

I'm raising money for a cause close to my heart and would love your support.

β˜”οΈπŸ«§ TIME TO GET PREPARED β›ˆοΈπŸŒ¬οΈ

As many of our clients are likely aware, Tropical Cyclone Alfred is anticipated to make landfall in South East Queensland within the upcoming week. Although TC Alfred remains somewhat unpredictable, it is imperative for horse owners to prepare for the potential worst-case scenario.

Now is the opportune moment to ready your property for the possibility of damaging winds and significant rainfall. If your horses are housed in a low-lying area prone to flooding, it is a good time to arrange for a safe place to stay. Our experience in rescuing horses from flood situations has shown us how frightening and perilous it can be for both equines and their caretakers. It is advisable not to delay in moving them; it is far better to err on the side of caution.

Ensure you have an adequate supply of wood shavings for stables, as well as feed, supplements, and hay to sustain you throughout the week, particularly if you may become isolated due to flooded roads.

Floodwaters can harbor bacteria that pose a risk of infection even for minor wounds, potentially leading to severe complications for horses. While visiting Yandina Feed Barn for your supplies, please ensure you also have your essential first aid items, including saline, Betadine or iodine, Virbac Cetrigen spray, Terramycin antibiotic powder or spray, White Healer, Animal Lintex Poultice, swabs, cotton wool, and bandages.

Stay informed about weather updates and local conditions, such as road closures, and have a contingency plan in place for someone to care for your horses/animals should you be unable to reach them.

Let us hope that this situation does not escalate, but it is wise to be prepared for the worst as predicted.

Wishing everyone safety during this time πŸ™
