What exactly is Matting??
It can be hard to see when you don't know what you're looking for. It is clumps of hair that are tangled together. You can't clip through it, you have to go under it.
So the longest length we can do is based on how far away that clump is from the skin.
We avoid this by line brushing our pets daily with the slicker and comb, as well as grooming every 6-8 weeks. ( See featured videos)
We are opening up our schedule for 2025.
Anyone who would like to secure their pets appointments for the year. Please let us know your preferred day and time, as well as how often you'd like your pet groomed.
If you need some Prime100 Food in your pets life, we stock it.
Available from 7am-6pm Monday to Friday for Pet Grooming and product sales. If the salon is closed please ring the grooming side doorbell for assistance.

How I prepare Prime100 rolls for my dog Eevee.
Cut portions, freeze the portions in a zip lock bag and take them out as you need them so there is no wastage.

Today this 14 month was matted head to toe and took me an hour and a half just to clip. Usual the clipping part including a cute face and styled legs only takes me half an hour.
The puppy and I were well and truly over it by the end.
Remember to brush and comb your dog between grooms and have your pet groomed every 6-8 weeks to avoid matting.
I will be doing rebookings today for those who have requested an ongoing appointment.
Get in contact with us if you don't receive a schedule at some point today or if you'd like your pet to have an ongoing appointment too.
