Young Mo's family has been learning how to support their new adoption to achieve amazing things. This pup has smashed his loose lead walking goals, he tunes into his leaders at times of excitement or fear, and his demeanour around the home is relaxed. These were not skills he brought with him on day one πŸ˜…

The best spin off from this family's brilliant attitude is the trusting and loving bond already formed between Mo and all of his family members, big and tiny. Way to go, Team Mo!

Walking this dream team over the past ten days was all the fresh air and riduliculousness I didn't know I needed. Trusty Tallulah kept the ball in play 100% of the time, while "glory player" Roxy took easy opportunities to join in and sabbotage Tallulah's fetch πŸ₯Ž. Sweet Molly pottered along throughout, stopping only for a loving pat and a very occasional sledging if her Zen was interrupted. Dogs really do bring fitness, health and hilarity to life don't they 🀩 Thanks for the laughs and cuddles you lot. We will be seeing you around!

Louie is a real people guy, but he didn't get much of a shot at meeting new dog friends earlier on in life. Lucky for him, he is now Marty and Selma's best boy.

Today Louie learnt how to deal with seeing other dogs out there on leash.

Awesome communication with his humans and a legendary ability to learn mean Louie now loves trips to the gardens to watch other doggos wander by. He even sniffed a potential new friend!

Keep that up Louie. We can't wait to see you wrestling some new best buddies really soon πŸ˜„

Young Mavis loves a cuddle, playing tug, having chats and eating roast chicken. Today she learnt that she can get all of these things without rounding up the humans or throwing her bed at them 🀣 She also learnt that interactions can, and should, begin without teeth πŸ˜…

Her cup will be filled proactively by her people, with positive and challenging ways to win through obedience and controlled (but still awesome) games of tug.

This toy also served to occupy her mouth as she escorted us to the gate at the end of the session, without rounding us up.

Thank you Mavis and family for a lovely day!

These spirited housemates were having some teething problems after Suki moved in. Poor big Bhutsy was being told to stay away from the water, the people and many spaces by the smaller newcomer.

We have shaken things up in the house, placing the crown firmly on the humans' heads, and Suki is okay with princess status, below the two (human) queens. We have implemented a combination of obedience and interaction tricks to support the humans in their leadership.

Suki is now more respectful of Bhutsy's space, movement and access to life's basic necessities.

Tensions have shrunk to almost nothing now. The two humans have their beautiful relationships with their dogs intact, their friendship has ridden the learning curve and the dogs are getting to know each other more peacefully within the secure home structure.

Most importantly, TV time is now relaxing and predictable.

Props to the whole pack for their commitment to learning how to live happily together!

Here is Jayne, but where is Bean? Bean is currently figuring out which behaviour is going to make the front door open, and Jayne walk in.

Until now, Bean made all the best things happen in life. He knew just how hard to bark, jump and harass. Needless to say, he was a little highly strung.

Jayne now has a nice seat to relax in while she waits for a more desirable behaviour from the little dog in the window.

Bean is on his way to learning that all the things he loves, he gets by being a relaxed and cooperative guy.

He can pour his energy into his new brain and body workouts with Jayne each morning.

Enrichment activities shall turn his attention away from the cushions and towards his new toys.

We are looking forward to hearing how Bean's evolving self is working out for this duo. Stay strong Jayne! πŸ’ͺ

Buddy and Kammy have been inching up the pecking order in their family, with Buddy resource guarding his most useful humans from other family members and Kammy protecting her humans from all other animals and guests!

So we reviewed the leadership of the pack. We have outfoxed Buddy and he now welcomes extra humans into his space - even during a pat πŸ˜ƒ

Kammy has learnt that she can trust her mum and dad to be in charge on walks. She checked in with them 100% today at the gardens with not one barky lunge! Such a promising and positive change.

Top marks team. The Captain Kids did so well stepping up and over their little dogs today. Keep that up πŸ˜ƒ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

Young Kaos had found herself in a big dog's body, still playing toothy games that were wearing thin on her friends and family.

Kaos's family has now learnt new ways to engage her in controlled, fun and challenging interactions that will clarify their leadership and bring order to Kaos's mind.

They have also learnt to understand and guide Kaos's playing style with people and her dog friends.

Kaos is learning to orientate to her family when out on leash and she is responding to her environment in much more calm and predictable ways.

Well done everyone πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ You have achieved so much. Kaos is a lucky pup to have such a devoted and committed family. We will be staying in touch πŸ˜ƒ

Wonderful Willow has been watching all kinds of passers-by at the gardens this morning, checking in with Martin and staying right out of trouble. Other dogs used to stress her out. She would get stuck staring at them and if they got too close, she'd use some scare tactics too. This duo has been doing excellent work since we first met. Life is now much more relaxed with great communication between the two. Walks have a purpose and a known plan and Willow has even begun to get to know some of her doggy neighbours πŸ˜ƒ Well done Willow and Martin for all your amazing work out there in the big world.

Nova just loved to chase and catch her kids. She was starting to play a little too hard and life with a puppy was becoming a lot less enjoyable for her family than they had hoped.

Nova's family has now learnt fun ways to reset the leadership, how to fill Nova's cup with good attention and lots of training tricks that will help life to be controlled, safe and fun for everyone.

Nova was so exhausted after just a few short training sessions with the kids. It can be really tiring using your body as well as your brain!

Nova's playful energy can now be used for good and her family is back in control for a happy life together.

Well done guys and please stay in touch πŸ‘ πŸ‘πŸ‘

Hats off to Cc and Leah today! This three-year-old Collie and her person learnt that the big world can be safe as well as fun. Cc learnt that she doesn't need to scare away other dogs and we enjoyed a new calm and focused response to seeing dogs at the park. Props also to Leah, who did a brilliant job reading Cc and judging how to support this new learning. These two are a great team and we can't wait to hear how life changes for them from here.
