Donnie at Benalla HRCAV Dressage Jackpot! ❤️

Donnie absolutely blew me away today at his FIRST ever Dressage Competition! 🤩

We ventured to the Benalla HRCAV Dressage Jackpot in G3 as our first gentle introduction into our Dressage journey. A massive thank you to the team for hosting such a beautiful event, very welcoming and supportive from start to finish!

As Donnie hasn’t had a massive amount of larger group outings, he was a little distracted and lacking a little bit of focus. However, he still managed to work his socks off, with some room to improve of course 😉

His first test: 72.42% placing him 2nd
His second test: 64.66% placing him 4th - note: he was the last horse of the day and wasn’t massively impressed that he was left alone 🤣
Overall: Runners Up/Reserve Jackpot Champion for grade 3 out of 16 riders 🎉🥳🎊

Donnie boy you did mummy so proud ❤️

I LOVE this horse so so so much!!! 😍❤️

Ghost has had a few months turned out after our first few little rides under saddle last year. Dragged him out yesterday for a good clean up, today out for a work session. One lap of walk around the arena and straight on, no lunge etc. As expected a few stubborn moments but once again blow me away! Time to put the work boots on ghost 💪🏼

This pony really is such a SUPERSTAR!! Dreamy had her first competition at the NVSJC Summer Show and placed in both her classes 🎉

Of course we didn’t go out to win and just wanted to enjoy her first day of the competition world, but she blow me away! 2nd in 50cm and 1st in 60cm 🤩 My Haven Stud
