So I know everyone hasn’t seen much of Donnie lately, sadly he has had to be turned out due to a number of body changes and issues. Thankfully he is the mend and is now ready for some gentle work and strength building for the next 4 week prior to jumping back into training as per normal! YAY! 🥳

Donnie has been making it very clear that he has missed being ridden and has been lining himself up at the mounting block when doing our ground work at liberty, and of course I finally gave in and gave him what he wanted! Photo of our very gentle 3rd ride and well he definitely has is work boots on and spring to his step! ❤️

For those interested, Donnie has a major growth spurt around Christmas time which of course I thought it best to rest in paddock. Whilst resting I believe he did something to himself and has made him a little crooked and holding a dropped rib cage on one side and weakness through one hind end. We thought we recovered from this a few months back and attempted to bring back in slowly, however was showing signs of being uncomfortable, lack of forward movement and sticky in hocks. Of course being a helicopter mum, I noticed the slightest of swelling in his hocks and of course began to rest again. A week or so after turning out, swelling developed more and off to vets we went. Thankfully no damage or major issues, however on vets instructions we rested for ANOTHER 3 months. Hopefully we are out of the woods and Donnie is seeming so much happy both in paddock and out. Fingers, toes, legs, eyes and ears all crossed in hopes we get smooth sailing now and building up his strength to support his new wonky body! 🤞🤞

Was previously used for trail ridden and went to adult riding club, has some basic dressage training. Was in paddock for a few years prior to current owner getting her, since then she was brought back in slowly, has done a few Pc rally’s and pleasure riding. Is good with tractors, noises, tarps, dogs, cats, chooks. She came to be to be sold on and brought back into more formal work, had her approx 4weeks and has improved drastically with every ride. Amazing temperament! Make a beautiful dressage horse or allrounder.

After a few moments off due to yet again another growth spurt and some major soreness through his body, I am so excited to be back in the saddle! 💙

After only a couple of rides we are starting to find our groove again and loosening up, time to build that strength back slowly! Oh and definitely LOVING our new saddle! Joys of being a saddle fitter, I get to ride and test some of the most amazing saddles out and about. Donnie’s favourite and also my favourite is the Erreplus Connect!! 🤩

My sweet little Wally has been battling a sore foot for a little bit now, had seen vet, treated and sadly no improvement…

Decided the best option was a visit to Seven Creek Equine for further investigation, little man is such a brave boy! We X-rayed his foot and straight away realised he has separation of his toe joint with joint infection….

With a quick discussion we all decided to give Wally a chance and remove the infected toe! Procedure went well yesterday, recovering well, hopefully home later this week. Although he isn’t out of the woods just yet, we are on a good path so far! Hopefully is little body continues to fight 🐮💙

You will have the benefit of 2 x 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐬 (Lucy Robins from Danehill Equestrian and Kim Carpenter from Performance Saddlefits Nth Vic) to cast their eyes over your horse and give you some advice and solutions to your saddle fitting conundrums.

This will allow us to pinpoint what works for both you and your horse and we can then guide you in the right direction of your perfect saddle.

Price ranges for our saddles are $1,900 to $7,500, but we can of course point you in the direction of appropriate second-hand saddles you could source for your horse.

This little sweetheart has come in for some work, with the plans of her going on the market in the coming weeks.

His favourite this morning with our first sit on was to play with mummy’s shoes 🤩 He still has so much growing to do so we have plans to do LOTS & LOTS of groundwork and in hand work prior to actually riding, but an occasional sit and light ba****ck play won’t hurt ❤️

Welcome to the family little Wally! 💙

My sweet little man finally came home last night and is settling in well. He has his own little story since gracing the world in September, but thanks to his amazing first human parents who gave him a chance and all the love he needed, he has been able to be welcomed into my little herd and hopefully have a long and healthy, happy and joyful life here. He really is a special little baby boy 🥰
