This weekend, we faced the relentless gale-force winds at the Dogs ACT 4x Championship Shows, where any attempts at grooming proved futile, leaving both dogs and handlers windswept and dishevelled. Nevertheless, it was not to the demise of my little team of two;

🏆 𝐵𝐸𝒮𝒯 𝒫𝒰𝒫𝒫𝒴 𝐼𝒩 𝒮𝐻𝒪𝒲 🏆👏🏻

was hot on her tail, taking out all Runner Up Best of Breeds.
A huge thank you to Darren, Greta and Amy for assisting with run-offs between my two.

Lastly, thank you to the dogs’ fairy godmother/our part-time housemate, Jess of Horse and Hound Bodyworks who gave the dogs a quick massage and stretch, followed by a spin on the Accell Therapy massage mat this morning before we headed off to the shows 🥰

Some lovely news out of Adelaide yesterday where “Shelby” is holidaying with grandma Valerie Joan Hutton at the ❄️ Dogs SA Winter International ❄️
Proudly, my little homebred girl Shelby - Huddylu Madam Speaker (ai) won Best Puppy in Group under judge Ms L Saranchuk (Canada 🇨🇦).

Thank you Makaela, Aaron, Ethan and Emily for taking turns piloting Shelby this weekend 🤩🥳

It is with great pride that Tim & I announce the safe arrival of our Huddylu Pembroke Welsh Corgis foundation litter.

Our wonderful “Jemma” [Aust Ch Elfor Modern Love NBT] graced us with 2 boys 🩵🩵 and a girl 💖 sired by “Finn” [Aust BISS & MBIS Sup Gr Ch Nireno Goldfinger] on 3/10/23.
Thank you to Joan for allowing us to thaw Finn’s 7yr old F/S for this breeding.
Likewise, we give thanks to Bowral Veterinary Hospital and their professional team of reproduction specialists, as well as Dr Harry and the team at Yass Valley Veterinary for getting the babies out safely via C-Section when labor stalled on Tuesday afternoon.

✨ Our kennel name of “Huddylu” pays homage to our first two Pembrokes that started us on this wonderful journey, “Hudson” and “Lucia”, so I must mention that this first litter is a little extra special being that it is birthed by a Hudson daughter, and sired by Lucia’s sire 💞

Aust Ch Neut Ch Bojojamile Bit of a Hunk “Hudson” secured Runner Up Neuter in Show thanks to judges Ms Alison Cowan (NSW) and was piloted around the ring by my baby sister who has taken a keen interest. 🥰
Congratulations to all winners 👏🏻

Lana and I much enjoyed our weekend spent in the beautiful Macedon Ranges of Victoria with my mentor Valerie Joan Hutton of Bojojamile.

“Lucia”

She’s yet to meet a person, baby, snack or tennis ball she doesn’t love. She still wakes up every morning like a playful puppy (with her ears painted on and all!) and through 3 house moves, is yet to find a clean washing pile or bed that is made to her liking/doesn’t need rearranging, yet a good sleep on the concrete is just fine.
