Yass Dressage Competition
Over 50 competitors rolled up bright and early on Sunday, October 29th, ready to compete at the Yass Showgrounds for our final dressage comp of the year. . The weather gods were kind and produced a glorious sunny day - perfect conditions for a cool, calm dressage test or two.
We had three arenas up and running in readiness for a Preparatory test - this is aimed for the horses and/or riders with their 'training wheels' on, designed to give encouragement and confidence. For the slightly more experienced combinations we had a Prelim and also Novice test in the other two arenas.
We saw some great tests performed in a relaxed and calm manner. The hard-working Yass Show Society team were ready with delicious snacks, plus liquid refreshments courtesy of Thyme to Taste.
It was a treat to have Voler Equestrian's Nikki Fuller in attendance with some very stylish horse and rider wear. We are looking forward to the next competitions, commencing early February 2024.
