Higher overall totals for the Magpies but with them taking part in the extra round the average is lower, but not by much! They also have cracked the 1000 vote mark which Griffith is yet to do!

The maggies have built well in their first beanie challenge and are now one win away from the GF which is absolutely incredible! They’ve got the Yass community right behind them so are going to be super hard to knock off! Can they crack 1000 again in the prelim?

If they can take it close to the pies, you just have to look at the amount of times Griffith has won a close one to know that they’ll move into favourites. Absolutely love getting on top in a scrap! The big question mark is if they can crack the 1000 vote marker which looks like it’ll be required to take it to Yass.

We think in the prelim with all eyes on them, the bins chickens should certainly be able to hit the 1000 but our gut feel is it’ll require somewhere around the mid 1500s minimum to get the job done. They have all of Griffith behind them so they’ll be giving themselves every chance here!

We would like to take a moment say congratulations to the 3 teams in the Under 6 age division that we were fortunate to sponsor this year.

Congratulations to the coaching, managing, first aid and league safe trainers who dedicate many hours each week to see our kids have the time of their life.

This was the first year playing for many of the kids and will see the start of many life long friendships. Good luck to all the players moving up to the Under 7’s next year and to those still in the Under 6 division next year, we can’t wait to see you again!

We are so fortunate to be able to give back to a community that gives so much enjoyment to our boys lives!

Sunni - Weld is feeling excited about completing its first shearing shed fit out. From the stumps up we have added everything you could ever need. It’s a three stand raised board shearing shed with swing slide gates and fully removable wool bins to suit. We were even able to bring some history into the shed by incorporating the original 1900’s overhead gear board into the design.
