Higher overall totals for the Magpies but with them taking part in the extra round the average is lower, but not by much! They also have cracked the 1000 vote mark which Griffith is yet to do!

The maggies have built well in their first beanie challenge and are now one win away from the GF which is absolutely incredible! They’ve got the Yass community right behind them so are going to be super hard to knock off! Can they crack 1000 again in the prelim?

What Charity/good cause/community project will the $1500 go to if they win?: TBA

GRIFFITH RUGBY
ROUND 1 – BYE
ROUND 2 beat Menzies Ag and Contracting (NSW) 399 votes (50.4%)
ROUND 3 beat NSW Primary School Sports Association / North West Schools Sports Association (NSW) 401 votes (53%)
ROUND 4 beat Williams Public School (WA) 670 votes (50.6%)
ROUND 5 beat Life Education NSW (Healthy Harold) 745 votes (51.6%)
QUARTER FINAL beat Coolamon Rovers Football & Netball Club (NSW) 964 votes (50.28%)

If they can take it close to the pies, you just have to look at the amount of times Griffith has won a close one to know that they’ll move into favourites. Absolutely love getting on top in a scrap! The big question mark is if they can crack the 1000 vote marker which looks like it’ll be required to take it to Yass.

We think in the prelim with all eyes on them, the bins chickens should certainly be able to hit the 1000 but our gut feel is it’ll require somewhere around the mid 1500s minimum to get the job done. They have all of Griffith behind them so they’ll be giving themselves every chance here!

What Charity/good cause/community project will the $1500 go to if they win?: Ovarian Cancer Australia

----COMP INFORMATION BELOW----
THE PRIZE? Not only are they owning the title of Australia's Best Beanie, the winning beanie will receive an Australian made, custom built, durable, community catering sized Heatlie BBQs with tools valued at around $2000 to do with as they please. In conjunction with the BBQ, they will also receive $1500 to donate to whatever charity/good cause/community project they see fit.

HOW TO VOTE: React with the appropriate emoji to the post as directed in the photo. Instead of just tapping to ‘like’, hold down the like button on your phone you’ll have more options to ‘react’. The corresponding face (Wow or Laughing) in the graphic above is who you’re voting for. We don't count comments with emojis, but feel free to show you're support by commenting!
--

REACTIONS on THIS original post are all we're able to count. Sharing is a proven way to accrue votes, but the reactions have to be on the original post on our page!

REMEMBER: Results are the COMBINED votes from our INSTAGRAM STORY AND TWITTER POST running concurrently at as well as here on Facebook. We've seen beanies win one poll, but still lose overall. Facebook reactions will be recorded exactly 24 hours’ time after the post was made. And yes, if you have noticed the loophole, you can vote once each on Facebook and Instagram!

VOTING ON TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM
Instagram: Go to our Instagram stories (tap our profile picture) and tap until your poll comes up. Then simply tap your beanie of choice!

Twitter: 'Like' or 'Retweet' as directed. Please note 'quote retweets' will not count as they can be done multiple times. It also means 'Like' options can be retweeted without affecting the score.
--

Please remember this is a free competition with the intention of highlighting local clubs, schools, businesses and organisations around Australia. The goal here is to build and strengthen community spirit. All possible efforts will be made to remove fake accounts. Any fake accounts found voting will be subtracted from the score. Memes are more than encouraged. Abuse isn’t.

From past results, we've noticed that sharing and tagging has helped win a few extra votes, naturally.

Best of luck, we'll be back at around 9:30PM with the results.

So, which beanie’s better?
