Any spare $$ After Christmas they certainly won't go astray helping Glenda at Schnauzer Rescue NSW she has helped home many in Victoria too.

2024 - a very busy year - we rehomed Momo, Ollie, Maxi, Peanut, Libby and Mia, Mo and Bert, Ninja, Humphrey, Luna and Ted.

We helped raise funds for Lulu in Western Australia, and also raised funds for Gracie's surgery and recently for Ted the baby puppy with a liver shunt. Gracie has gone on to live a wonderful life (free from pain), and Ted is doing well after his recent surgery.

I assisted the RSPCA with the rehoming of 41 surrendered Mini Schnauzers - a difficult task that took months.

Two highly traumatised girls (pictured) were part of the 41, so the wonderful Anne helped once again, and adopted Hannah. Rosie came to live here with me - both girls have done amazingly well. Thank you to the team of foster carers and adopters of the "41", forever grateful for your dedication to rehab and training. Huge thanks to Donna at the RSPCA, her empathy and commitment to rescue is just extraordinary.

A total of 54 dogs this year were rescued/rehomed. 💕

To my supporters, the amazing Schnauzer Community, I could not run rescue without you.

I would like to thank Anne McNaughton for her constant support over many years and for never saying no to a difficult dog.

To the event fund raisers and supporters; Schnauzer Rescue Qld., Terry Harvey and Man Lie, with the Annandale days, CJ Chen and "Schnauzermas", the Knitting team, Juliea Eagle and "Schnauzer Claws" in Melbourne, Yvonne Forbes with the beautiful calendars, breeder Maureen Sayers in Victoria and everyone else who has donated to help all these dogs - thank you so very much.

TEAM TED - UPDATE

I want to thank the awesome Schnauzer Community for supporting our little Ted. Every single person who has donated and wished him well is now part of his life and story. ❤

Ted's surgery is on Friday.
Thank you for your donations - I am so grateful that we can all help a schnauzer in need. Dr Chris Tan wants the very best outcome for baby Ted and his team have fallen in love with this gorgeous puppy.
Of course, there are always risks with a complex surgery, but he is in great hands, so we can only hope for the best outcome. Ted will require time in ICU for a few days. Luckily, his amazing foster mum Steph is a nurse and will care for him on his discharge.
Please keep little Ted in your thoughts and collective Schnauzer prayers on Friday. I am forever grateful to this amazing community for your support ❤️ 🙏

If you aren't already following Schnauzer Rescue NSW please consider it and donating a little. Glenda has been rescuing Schnauzers or help placing them, from all over Australia for many many years. Her tireless efforts for our beloved breed go above and beyond. I give donation each litter to Glenda since the other one disappeared. I urge other breeders to do the same. Glenda has one of the few rescues I trust. I understand many breeders don't feel they have been the ones contributing to so many poorly bred Schnauzers getting around nowdays, but Glenda does not differentiate, if the dog she is helping is quality or not. Also we know that even the most carefully planned litter, things can go wrong through no fault of the breeder.
Ted is currently one she is collecting funds for but without a doubt there will be more.

I just saw this post on a schnauzer site. PLEASE PEOPLE skirt around them. They roll up in a ball out of fear. A dog is a natural preditor as are humans to these animals. Our native wildlife have enough to contend with with the loss of so much natural habitat. They have to try and live amongst us, so just leave them be.

Little Umami got his big boy groom at 11.3 weeks old. He left here with a full clip and I regularly had clippers on him. He got an A+ from Uncanny Animals in Yarraville well done for giving a proper groom. Well done Ibo for not leaving it for too long for his next groom. Thanks Ibo for the video. Umami is a Georgie Basil son.

Due to unforseen circumstances we still have a Black and silver boy availableand also the little boy is out of dangerzone now and doing well. . ....If you have previously contacted me for a puppy from this litter just born you need to TEXT message ONLY ASAP Only people who have already read our contract and agreeable to our procedure. I'll check my texts to see who inquired first. Please state the COLOUR and GENDER you are wanting and I will get back to you. Also ensure you are able to be ready for new puppy on 11th October. We did not get any black pups but I will have later this year. Thanks for your patience. First time mum and caesarean so I've had very little sleep for last few night.
