আমরা যারা রেসার কবুতর পালি, আমরা আসলেই পাগল। সারা বছর গরম, বৃষ্টির মধ্যে ভিজে কত কষ্ট করে বাচ্চা গুলো দের বড় করি, আর শীতের সময় ছেড়ে দিয়ে আসি নির্জন জায়গায়। তখন একবার ও ওই কষ্ট গুলোর কথা মনে পড়ে না আর কবুতর গুলার জন্যও তখন মায়া হয় না। শুধু মাথায় একটা জিনিসই ঘুরে রেস এ ভালো করতে হবে, আর যদি কোন কবুতর বাসায় আসতে না পারে, আমরা মনকে সান্ত্বনা দেওয়ার জন্য বলি ওটা ভালো ছিল না।
