Royal Ball Python 😎
(High Contrast Morph)

Most Exclusive & Popular Exotic Pets in the 🌏

The ball python (Python regius), also called the Royal python, is a python species native to West and Central Africa, where it lives in grasslands, shrublands and open forests. This nonvenomous constrictor is the smallest of the African pythons, growing to a maximum length of 5 feets (Male), 6 feets (Female). The name "ball python" refers to its tendency to curl into a ball when stressed or frightened.

Ball pythons are typically nocturnal or crepuscular, meaning that they are active during dusk, dawn, and/or nighttime. This species is known for its defense strategy that involves coiling into a tight ball when threatened, with its head and neck tucked away in the middle. This defense behavior is typically employed in lieu of biting, which makes this species easy for humans to handle and has contributed to their popularity as a pet.

In the wild, ball pythons favor mammal burrows and other underground hiding places, where they also aestivate. Males tend to display more semi-arboreal behaviors, whilst females tend towards terrestrial behaviors.

Breeding: Females are oviparous and lay three to 11 rather large, leathery eggs. The eggs hatch after 55 to 60 days. Young male pythons reach sexual maturity at 11–18 months, and females at 20–36 months. Age is only one factor in determining sexual maturity and the ability to breed; weight is the second factor. Males breed at 600 g (21 oz) or more, but in captivity are often not bred until they are 800 g (28 oz), although in captivity, some males have been known to begin breeding at 300–400 g (11–14 oz). Females breed in the wild at weights as low as 800 g (28 oz) though 1,200 g (42 oz) or more in weight is most common; in captivity, breeders generally wait until they are no less than 1,500 g (53 oz). Parental care of the eggs ends once they hatch, and the female leaves the offspring to fend for themselves.

Captive ball pythons are often bred for specific patterns that do not occur in the wild, called "morphs."Breeders are continuously creating new designer morphs, and over 7,500 different morphs currently exist. Most morphs are considered solely cosmetic with no harm or benefit to the individual animal. However, the "spider" morph gene has been linked to neurological disease, specifically related to the snake's sense of balance.Due to the ethical concerns associated with intentionally breeding a color pattern linked to genetic disease, the International Herpetological Society banned the sale of spider morphs at their events beginning in 2018.

Ball pythons are the most popular pet snake and the second most popular pet reptile after the bearded dragon.

This species can do quite well in captivity, regularly living for 30-40 years with good care. The oldest recorded ball python in captivity is 62 years, 59 of those at the Saint Louis Zoo.

World Snake Day 🐍🐍

:- (In Video's ball python are not for S@le)

Warm wishes on World Snake Day to you.
Let us not be afraid of these creations but let us work together to save them.

Just like any other animal on the planet, snakes also have their role to play in the ecosystem.

The occasion of World Snake Day reminds us that we must not be fearful of them but we must be concerned about them.

It is the negativity that we have in our hearts for snakes that makes them look dangerous to us, this is a miss concept of us.

There are so many interesting facts to learn about snakes and today is the perfect day to add these facts to our knowledge.

It is up to us how we save our planets and how we protect reptiles like snake who are important for our environment.

We humans have done serious damage to our surroundings environment by our fault activities and by superstition, so we must now act to restore it all as much possible.

We must understand that snakes attack us not because they always want to feed on us but because they are scared from us, just the way we are scared of them.y

Snake is a beautiful creation by God and must therefore, protect it and keep it safe.y.

Snakes have been ignored and they have been killed for no reason. Let us spread more awareness about them and their importance in our lives.

Again Wishing a very Happy World Snake Day

22/03/2023

Alhamdulillah Successfully we’ve breed the Insects Cricket (feeder) for the first time in Bangladesh in captivity for feeding purpose and Insha Allah very soon we will be starting to distribute the Feeder Cricket as a Gift (free) to (who are those interested!!!) 🙋‍♂️

about-

Insects Cricket 🦗 (Feeder)

FEEDER CRICKETS:

There are two species of feeder crickets: Acheta domesticus (Brown Cricket or Common House Cricket) and Gryllus bimaculatus (Black Cricket, Black Field Cricket, Mediterranean Cricket, Silent Cricket, or African Cricket). Field crickets tend to be much more aggressive than brown crickets, making them more difficult to handle as feeders. Crickets are the most common live food for captive reptiles, spiders, frogs and turtles.

Size and Lifecycle:

Crickets have an eight-week lifespan and reach breedable maturity between 5 – 6 weeks of age. The three stages of a cricket’s life cycle are egg, nymph, and adult. Crickets spend 14 days in the egg and hatch as nymphs. Nymphs look like smaller versions of adults but missing wings. Nymphs are often prey for larger crickets and should be housed separately. Nymphs will molt eight to ten times before growing wings at about a month of age. The new exoskeleton is soft and white but hardens and darkens within a few hours. Once crickets reach adulthood, they spend their time eating and attempting to mate. Once a female has mated, she lays eggs almost continuously. Females lay between 100 and 200 eggs in their life. Female Crickets will have a single long pointy appendage extending from their backside called an ovipositor. It’s used to lay their eggs. Males lack ovipositors.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

Crickets are easy to care for and cheap to purchase.
They are flexible meals due to their different sizes during the multiple life stages.
Smaller, newly hatched crickets are ideal for smaller pets, and adult crickets are better suited to larger pets.
Crickets are high in protein and are highly nutritious when gut-loaded correctly.
They are also easy to dust with calcium and other vitamins.
Due to their common usage, they are easy to acquire.
Crickets are not picky eaters, so there is no difficulty feeding them.

Cons:

Crickets have a short lifespan, and dead crickets must be removed regularly.
They release toxins that can be fatal to the remaining crickets.
Black crickets are also quite loud once they reach adulthood.
Crickets are mostly exoskeleton, so you may have to feed your pet more, smaller crickets to get more meat into your pet.
They move fast and can be challenging to handle.
Some pets may have difficulty catching crickets due to their speed.
You can slow down crickets by removing their hind legs.
Crickets’ voracious appetites mean that they will probably turn on your reptile, leaving bites that can get infected.
You must NOT leave crickets in the enclosure overnight; it’s best only to feed the number of crickets that your pet can consume in one sitting.
Crickets are also skilled at escaping.
They seem to have a higher chance of carrying parasites than other feeder insects, so wild-caught crickets should never be feed to your pet.

Nutritional Content

Crickets can be up to 65% protein by weight after a gut-load, meaning they can be more protein-dense than red meat or chicken. They also contain high levels of iron, calcium, vitamin B12, and omega fatty acids. In general, they contain about 21mg of calcium per 100g of cricket. Crickets fed a poor diet are about 21% protein, 6% fat, and 3% carbohydrates. The remaining 69% is water-based. These content levels are dependent upon what the crickets are fed, though.

Caring for Feeder Crickets

Crickets do best in temperatures between 80°F and 90°F. Provide heat with a heat mat, or place the enclosure on top of your reptile’s cage. Below this temperature range, crickets can still survive but will not breed. You can use their reaction to temperature to your benefit. If you cool the crickets in the fridge prior to feeding your pet, the crickets will be sluggish and inactive, making them easier to catch by your pet. Place the crickets container in a dry place where you can maintain a light cycle of 8 hours darkness and 16 hours light. You can use a deep tub made of plastic for the container, with good ventilation, an aquarium with a mesh lid, or a Cricket Keeper. Use metal mesh instead of fiberglass. Cricket Keepers are available for purchase in most stores that specialize in reptiles. Small Cricket Keepers tend to have a dimension of four-by-six inches, which will suffice for a modest number (

Iguanas are some of the largest lizards found in the Americas, with their whiplike tail making up about half of that length. Like other reptiles, iguanas are cold-blooded, egg-laying animals with an excellent ability to adapt to their environment.

Iguana species vary greatly in size, color, behavior, and their endangered status in the wild.

Most iguanas are herbivores, eating fruits, flower buds, and young leaves. Some also eat the occasional juicy mealworm or wax worm! The marine iguana dives in the ocean to scrape algae from rocks. But our iguanas are offered a fruit salad that includes dark leafy greens and a variety of fruits, while some also receive crickets, mealworms, and wax worms. But because wax worms are high in fat, they are considered the “dessert” part of the menu!

Size: iguanas are among the largest lizards in the Americas, averaging around 6.5 feet long and weighing about 11 pounds.

Lifespan: The lifespan of an iguana is on average 12-15 years. When well-cared for, a healthy iguana can easily supercede that and live more than 20 years.

The leopard gecko is a popular beginner's reptile because it's easy to handle and requires minimal care compared to many other lizards. Leopard geckos have perky personalities and make movements that are interesting to watch. They are commonly yellow, white, and spotted with black dots, and hatchlings are striped and gradually change to the spotted appearance. There are several colorful and patterned morphs or variations.

COMMON NAME: Leopard gecko

SCIENTIFIC NAME: Eublepharis macularius

ADULT SIZE: 8 to 10 inches including tails

LIFE EXPECTANCY: 20 or more years in captivity

Geckos use their tails to communicate. If you have more than one leopard gecko in an enclosure, keep an eye out for tail-waving. It's a slow, back-and-forth motion. The gecko often raises it, too. This sign means a leopard gecko feels threatened and is about to attack, so separate them right away.
Leopard geckos also are tail rattlers, similar to rattlesnakes. If you see your gecko rattle the tip of its tail rapidly, that means your leopard gecko is excited to eat or to mate.

And just like a lot of other lizards, when they feel threatened, leopard geckos can self-amputate their tails as a defense mechanism.

A 10-gallon tank is the minimum size for one leopard gecko, but a larger tank is preferable. Old fish tanks that don't hold water anymore also work perfectly well for leopard geckos. Only keep males and females together if you want to deal with breeding. Like most reptiles, leopard geckos are solitary creatures for the most part, and do not feel lonely or desire the company of other lizards other than when mating.
Provide half logs as hiding and climbing space. Commercial reptile caves and simple cardboard boxes are also good options. A damp hide box can help with shedding.

Spot clean the cage once a day to remove f***s. About twice a month, take everything out, throw out the substrate, and scrub and disinfect the cage and all the items in it to reduce the buildup of bacteria.

It's also important to soak your gecko in a shallow pan of lukewarm water for about 10 to fifteen minutes once to twice a week. This will help with hydration and humidity. You might need to complete this process more often if your gecko is shedding.
These lizards are desert lizards, so they do not need a highly humid environment. If the humidity is too low (below 20 percent), the gecko might have trouble shedding. Keep the humidity level about 30 to 40 percent, which is similar to the humidity level in your home. You can use a regular screen top, coupled with the heat source, to keep the environment dry. To check on the humidity level, get a hygrometer or humidity gauge for the cage.
Young leopard geckos shouldn't be kept on a sand substrate, even if it is calcium sand. They may ingest the sand and suffer an intestinal blockage. Paper is absorbent and easy to change, and indoor/outdoor carpet works well, too. Reptile carpet is also a good option; it's easy to clean and your gecko will move around on it well. There is also a low risk that your gecko will ingest this product.

Leopard geckos are insectivores. Feed a variety of crickets, waxworms, and, in moderation, mealworms. On occasion, you can try to feed a pinky mouse to an adult gecko. To make sure that your gecko does not ingest any substrate, you can feed your gecko in an empty tank.
Juveniles need to be fed several crickets every day. Adults can skip several days between feedings. Before you feed the insects to your pet, they must be gut-loaded or fed a nutritious meal 24 hours before feeding. You will also need to coat the insects with a calcium/vitamin D3 supplement before you feed them to your lizard. To do so, put the crickets or worms in a ziplock bag with some of the powder supplement. Shake the bag quickly and drop the insect into the tank with your lizard. Hatchlings and juveniles need the calcium/vitamin supplement at every feeding; adults only need it at every other feeding.

You can also provide your gecko with a lick dish of the vitamin.

Provide a shallow dish of fresh water for your leopard gecko at all times. The water bowl will help add some humidity to the enclosure, and your gecko will drink from the bowl. You may even find a gecko voluntarily soaking in its water bowl.

One of the most severe conditions that can affect leopard geckos is metabolic bone disease. Just like humans, geckos become ill if they don't get enough calcium and vitamin D. Metabolic bone disease causes painful spine and limb deformities.

Sugar gliders are lovely, interesting, energetic, and inquisitive animals that have gained recent popularity as pets. While they may look like rodents, they are actually small marsupials, most closely related to kangaroos and koalas.

As a nocturnal tree-dwelling species, they have large eyes to help them navigate in the darkness. They get their name from a flap of tissue connecting their wrists and ankles, called the gliding membrane, which allows this species to sail, as they cannot fly, from one place to another with remarkable accuracy.

Sugar gliders can make wonderful pets and bond closely with their human families if given the specific care, enrichment, and socialization they require. Gliders can live up to 15 years old, so they are a lengthy time commitment as a pet parent. They are very social and live in groups of 5-12 in the wild. Sugar gliders vocalize frequently and are typically docile, but will bite when scared, stressed, painful, or poorly socialized.

Gliders are from Australia and New Guinea and are an arboreal species—therefore spending most of their time living and gliding from tree to tree. Replication of this environment makes gliders as close to their natural habitat as possible. Many sugar glider enthusiasts find that bird cages work well as sugar glider habitats—although avoid cages with only vertical bars that may cause injury.

Sugar gliders enjoy toys and other items in their cage as enrichment. Hide and nest boxes and pouches allow safety, comfort, and dark areas to rest. Frequently switch other enrichment tools in the cage, including shelves, solid running wheel, swings, and bird toys. Branches and plants are extremely important to mimic a glider’s natural environment and allowing room to leap and climb. Use caution with any natural products to ensure you’re not introducing pests or chemical sprays. Sugar gliders will chew on branches, so make sure only nontoxic plants and trees are provided.

Captive sugar gliders may receive commercially available glider-specific pellets and nectar supplements. In addition, they should receive fresh fruits, vegetables, and insects. Insects should be gut-loaded and dusted with a calcium supplement—similar to many reptiles. Gut-loading refers to the process of feeding insects a nutritious diet for 24-48 hours before feeding them to the sugar glider. By gut-loading, the insects are packed with vitamins and minerals that positively impact the glider.

Make sure to rotate all varieties of food—insects, fruits, vegetables. Use caution to not feed fatty, super sweet foods, pits, seeds, or too many insects. Sugar gliders may ignore other food sources—preferring the sweet fruits or juicy insects and ignore nutrient-laden foods. This can lead to obesity and metabolic disorders.

Some examples of healthy food choices to feed on regular rotation with your sugar glider include:

Insects:-

Crickets, Mealworms, Superworms, Waxworms

Vegetables:-

Squash, Cucumber, Bell pepper, Carrots, Sweet, potatoes, Bok Choy, Jicama

Fruits:-

Papaya, Oranges, Bananas, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Mango, Kiwi, Peaches

(It is never appropriate to feed a sugar glider a commercially available diet made for catsincoordination)

Healthy sugar gliders are alert, with clean, clear eyes. Their nose, eyes, and mouth should be clear of any discharge or discoloration. Their coat is smooth and soft. Males have two scent glands that can be confused with bald spots. One is on the top of their head and the other is on their chest. Healthy sugar gliders are active and inquisitive with no signs of breathing difficulty or malaise.

Sugar gliders often have medical conditions, secondary to husbandry concerns. The most common disorders include:

Malnutrition: causing paralysis, blindness, lameness, and seizures

Obesity

Parasites: causing loss of appetite or changes in bowel movements

Hair loss: may be stress-related, especially with un-neutered males and poorly socialized individuals

Respiratory issues: causing increased breathing rate and effort

Trauma

Dental disease: facial swelling, drooling, or decreased appetite

Cancer: obvious tumors or lethargy and weight loss

Metabolic bone disease: most sugar gliders don’t receive appropriate levels of protein and calcium, which causes metabolic bone disease and may show as decreased appetite, weight loss, lethargy, tremors, and lameness due to broken bones

Infections: skin, pouch, and tooth infection can cause fever, lethargy, pain, swelling, and discharge

Blindness and cataracts: hazy eyes and incoordination

Sugar gliders naturally keep themselves clean. They do not require a water or shampoo bath, unless prescribed by your veterinarian. They also do not require dust baths, like chinchillas or hamsters. If you feel your sugar glider requires a bath, consult with your veterinarian to determine if there is an underlying husbandry problem or physical ailment.
