Important - please share
Keep puppies in sunlight (in a veranda or roof-top) all day, and warm (preferably near an electric heater) and dry, when it iscold and / or raining. Do not bathe puppies when it is raining or cold. If you must then do it with warm water - and dry quickly. The cold and rain (wetness) causes parvo.

Please donate cages to foster homes. I am urging all foster homes to keep every single puppy separately - especially during the cold / rainy / parvo season. If one puppy gets parvo - the rest of them will contract the virus - and die (even with prompt and proper treatment). They also fight - and can kill each other. So if they are going to be kept in a foster home they should be kept properly, or aiguli adha kamna, or it is better to just let them out on the streets - where they are spread out - and less likely to get affected.

When you give an animal for adoption, do not just take the address, you MUST drop him/her off yourself. Check out where the animal will be staying, and if the family is well-to-do enough to pay for his/her food, confirm if the adopter's family and landlord agree - or later there could be problems. This way, if they block you, you will be able to go to their home - and search for the cat / dog yourself. If it is a foreign female dog / cat, make sure you spay her, if she is above nine months old - or the adopters could use her for breeding.

Urging everyone to keep puppies warm, and dry, this winter. Keep them on the roof, in veranda's or the garden, to get the little sunlight (UVC light) that is available in the winter, all day, and keep electric heaters on from dawn till dusk, or puppies will get parvo - and that will spread to the other puppies.
Please donate electric heaters to foster homes - prevention is better than cure.

We sometimes find litters of puppies. Their mother has passed away, or they have been thrown away. If they have started eating solid food, under no circumstances should one give them to a step-mother. Step-mothers recognize their puppies via smell. The procedure is to take the step-mother's puppies, and rub their bodies with the step-puppies - to get their smell on their bodies. The step-mothers might not accept them, and bite / kill them. If the puppies are too small - have not started eating solid food yet - then one should try to get the step-mother to accept them, because even after feeding them milk every few hours - they rarely survive up to two months - but if the step-mother accepts them - they will at least survive for two months.

For the treatment of cancer;
(1) use my dosage regimen,
(2) use Rapamycin with Vincristine / Cristine 2,
(3) use predex instead of steron vet,
(4) measure the dog's temperature before administering Vincristine / Cristine 2; if it is below or above 101 - 102.5'F, then do not administer chemotherapy,
(5) measure the dog's weight before administering Vincristine / Cristine 2; if he/she has lost weight - do not administer chemotherapy - until he/she has regained weight,
(6) take an x-ray, and an angiogram, after external tumors are no longer visible, because one should check if there are any internal tumours, or if cancerous cells have metastasized into the blood stream.

Please do not put a healthy dog in a foster home. People normally put them in foster homes when they have no choice - when their dog could not get adopted - and they will be abroad for a few months, and so on. If the dog does not get adopted, and you have to put them in foster care - give the dog to someone who does not have any other dogs, or has very few dogs. Because when you put them in a foster home with several dogs, the probability of them getting pneumonia, canine distemper, parvo, and so on, is greater. And once they contract these viruses - it is difficult to save them.

Please share. I urge all shelters, puppy and kitten owners, to buy UVC lights. They are available, at a reasonable price, in Bangladesh, and buying one UV-C light is cheaper than the cost of treating one puppy for parvo. It is proven that they kill parvo, distemper, and other viruses. Nine out of ten puppies contract these viruses - and usually die. Vaccines - even after subsequent boosters, do not give 100 percent immunity. There is no cure for canine distemper. And even prompt parvo treatment does not guarantee survival. Simply spray the ultraviolet-C light, once a day, on dogs, cats, and where they stay - including on grass. Puppies normally contract viruses below the age of nine months.
