Meet Archie and Nala, two inseparable rescues who have been part of our boarding family since the very first month. These beautiful souls have brought so much joy and warmth to our space, turning it into their second home!

We are incredibly grateful to their amazing rescuer, a devoted animal lover whose life’s mission is to save animal lives. Thanks to her compassionate heart, at least six of her rescues have stayed with us, each leaving their paw prints on our hearts.

Archie and Nala have truly become a cherished part of our boarding story, and we couldn’t be happier to celebrate their journey with us!

5 months ago, Flame and Amber became part of our AKS family while their parents were far away in Denmark, doing everything they could to bring their precious fur babies home. With some teamwork and lots of love, these two are finally on their way to be reunited! We’ll miss their sweet purrs and playful paws so much, but our hearts are so full knowing they’ll soon be back in their family's arms. Safe travels, Flame and Amber!

Motu is a white Baridhara stray cat who used to look overweight (hence the name). Motu would visit AKS Animal Care Centre quite often. She would meow for food and the AKS team made sure to feed her well everyday.

Gradually over time, Motu would walk in every day and do her daily routine. Meow, eat and sleep on the receptionist’s chair! When we gained Motu’s trust and started to pet Motu, we realized that Motu wasn’t a fat cat; instead, there was a tumor in her stomach. The tumor was diagnosed to be cancerous and Motu immediately went in for surgery to have the tumor removed.

When the clinic was in the middle of relocation, AKS Animal Care Boarding took Motu under its care and Motu would shift between the clinic and boarding to receive regular chemotherapy.

Today, Motu is still undergoing chemotherapy and will spend the rest of her days under the care of our loving team.

Motu is a constant reminder to all of us that all lives matter and that we must be doing something right to have animals walk through our door seeking help.
