Tony is a 6 year qh gelding, stands 15.1 hands and is built to last. His confirmation truly depicts that of what a true performance horse should be. He is straight legged, and has the bone and foot to last a life time! Tony is EASY. Everything you do with this gelding he takes it one stride at a time. Even away from home he is the same. This gelding is very broke, he lopes correctly both directions. He knows leg cues and moves off of leg pressure easily. He stops correctly on his hind end with his head in the bridle. He has been our go to horse for the last years we have owned him. He has traveled to many different directions and arenas in his time here. We have ridden him all over our ranch and he is always perfect!
He is good with tarps, loud noises and tons of chaos! This Gelding is started on the showing pattern great, promise to be someone’s next superstar. When working the pattern this Gelding was started slow and correct. He is not hot nor does he show any indication he would get that way. he is far enough along a youth could finish him out. We have also roped a few steers on him in the pasture, and he took to that great and would be a great head horse candidate! He trail rides perfect! he is not in a hurry to get down the trail and is never spooky! He crosses water, logs, ditches with ease. he is traffic safe, dog safe, and baby approved! Tony has even found himself toting our little girl around! This Gelding is the same whether you ride him everyday or once a month! He stays totally safe and gentle with time off! He stands to bathed, as well as clipped. He stands quietly for the farrier. He will stand tied all day without causing a fuss and is easy to catch out in the big field!
