simple advice would be to always keep your cat clean. make sure to wash his/her body regularly. however be careful about what soap or body washer you might use, because some soaps or body washers can cause allergic reactions. make sure what you are using is not harmful to the cat, there are plenty of soap, and shampoo that are specially made for cats. try to use them.

Just like humans, cats can also catch fever. the doctors gave it a special name. Cat fever is also called feline fever. if your cat's body temperature goes more than 102.5 Fahrenheit (39.2 Celsius) then your cat is likely to have a fever. you can measure your cat's body temperature by putting a thermometer in its ear. It is important to keep watch on your cat's behavior in such cases. when your cat catches a fever her/his immune system is most likely fighting some kind of bacteria. the most obvious reason for your cat to catch a fever would be cold. like if your cat stays in cold water for a long time. however, you will be surprised to know that there are a bunch of other reasons too....check out the comments for more information
