Xinema Van de Duvetorre is in training for detectionwork.
She had an introduction in bitework when she was 10 weeks.
She didn´t do bitework since.
We are very happy with the work she is showing.

WE shouldn't tell you. Rewarding is crucial when training dogs. This certainly applies to working dogs. we prefer to work with dogs that love a ball. And our trainers play a huge role in making that even stronger. In this video you see Xinema Van de Duvetorre who actually doesn't like to give up her ball. But this way she really likes to come back and play. she actually pushes it into our hands. Hear her snoring 🤗🤗🤗

Xinema Van de Duvetorre in training for protectionwork. She is not only a very beautifull and stable malinois. She is also very social and bites full and dry, pushes without shaking her head.

Yesterday the training center was visited by the Francaise Marie-Pierre. She is no stranger to us at all because 10 years ago, as a young girl, she did an internship in the dog boarding kennel of Johan and his wife Carine. Meanwhile, Marie-Pierre works as a police officer and received permission from her policeforce to train her dog to search for drugs, money and ammunition.

A working dog has a lot of energy and asks to be allowed to work. But just like a top athlete, a dog also needs quality rest. That is why we teach this in a completely positive way.

Trainer Fabbe wants a closer and stronger sit in front of him from his malinois Rocky ( aka Vrocky Van de Duvetorre). We trained this for the first time in a trainingroom without much distractions. We have to reinforce this before we take next little steps in training.

Those two, trainer Fabbe and Choco, seem to be having a good time. 😉 The mental well-being of working dogs is very important. 💪So playing is crucial.👌

While walking the dogs we saw this container. We took that opportunity to play with the Kong in it. That's not really a challenge for this young German sheperd.
