This upcoming Saturday, September 20, marks World Cleanup Day, a global movement striving for a waste-free world. 🌍

Moderna takes a proactive approach to waste management, guided by a cascading strategy following ‘Remove-Recycle-Reduce’:

♻️ Remove: we aim for zero waste by optimizing our product design and packaging methods

♻️ Recycle: non-removable waste is sorted into dedicated streams and processed by local recycling partners

♻️ Reduce: when recycling or removal isn’t possible, we minimize material use to a bare minimum

Recently, we visited Hachiko to meet our puppy in training, Izma 🐾.

We’re very proud that, in addition to being a sponsor partner since 2022, we are now also Izma’s sponsor. With this, we continue to support Hachiko’s mission: helping people with care needs through professionally trained assistance dogs, without financial barriers.

Thanks to the voluntary contributions of our visitors during Moderna company tours, we were able to present a cheque of €3.005 💙. This amount was collected between January and August 2025, and will help Hachiko continue their amazing work.
