This is a manufacturing process where a pre-printed label is first placed inside the mould cavity and then fuses with the injected plastic material. Sustainability is a journey we have chosen to follow as a business. We’re proud to develop programs and initiatives that support our customers’ ambitions, while also driving our own internal Sustainability goals. One of these goals is to be as energy-efficient as possible. To achieve this, the Moderna production facility in Belgium has been designed with a forward-looking approach. For example, all excess heat generated from our production processes is recovered and reused to heat all our buildings. In addition, we generate 30% of our own energy through the installation of 6.153 solar panels on our roof.
