At Moderna Belgium, energy efficiency is a core part of our sustainability strategy. 💚

Excess heat from production? Reused to warm our buildings.
Solar panels? Over 6,000 installed on our roof, generating 30% of our consumed energy, that’s 6.90 GWh produced since installation in August 2022. 💡

And the impact speaks for itself:

- We’ve saved enough energy to reuse or recycle around 1.22 billion 1-liter plastic bottles.

- The CO₂ we avoided would take almost 680 cars off the road for a full year.

- Our green impact represents a forest of 4,480 trees, enough to cover 1,800 football fields. 🌳

Last year, these numbers were already impressive: 815 million bottles, 450 cars, 1,200 football fields, and this year we’ve gone even further! Every number tells the same story: progress, growth, and a commitment to a greener future 🌍💙

You read that right! Last week, Alex ran the TCS New York City Marathon, one of the biggest and most famous marathons in the world, right in New York City. And he completed it successfully! 👏 Let’s give a big round of applause for this amazing achievement!

🎃 Throwback to Halloween in the USA! 🇺🇸

Team Gaffney brought the Halloween spirit to life with a Trunk or Treat celebration that had everyone smiling! 👻 From bouncy castles to a food truck serving candy apples, cotton candy, funnel cakes and more 🍭 there was something sweet for everyone.

Our colleagues went all out decorating their car trunks, while kids trick-or-treated from car to car. Games like bowling, corn hole, limbo, and pin the nose on the witch kept the laughter going all day long! 🎉

🧡 Huge thanks to everyone who joined, we loved seeing all the smiles and spooky outfits!

Today is YOUCA Action Day! 🎉

Just like 15,000 young people across Flanders and Brussels, Sen is swapping the classroom for a hands-on day in production!

From helping with labeling and packaging to discovering production processes and seeing the machines in action, it’s a truly educational experience. 🐾

The wages earned will support youth-led projects around the world. In 2025, YOUCA joins forces with Amnesty International and the youth of MANTHOC to stand up for young people's rights and the protection of the Amazon in Peru.

Ruddle is a super-premium dry food brand offering a wide range of flavours and formats. This makes it a perfect match for the diverse nutritional needs of dogs, from puppies to seniors, including special dietary requirements.🐾

Together, we've developed a fully customized 38L food container that perfectly reflects their brand identity. Using our advanced In-Mold Labelling (IML) technology, their logo is seamlessly integrated into the container's design.🎨Even the many fine lines in the visual were reproduced with exceptional precision.
