Deze week kwam Pascal Smet ons boerderij MicroFlavours👨‍🌾bezoeken en onze microgroenten🌱 proeven.

Zijn eerste indruk: "Wie had nu een verticale stadsboerderij hier in Molenbeek verwacht en naast de kanaal? Echt mooi!"

Pascal Smet zorgt voor mobiliteit in Brussel. Met de nieuwe fietswegen kunnen wij binnen Brussel met onze cargofietsen leveren.

Offre de stage en agriculture urbaine.

MicroFlavours est une jeune ferme urbaine composées de trois jeunes travailleurs, aidés à temps partiel par des ouvriers sociaux/handicapés, produisant des micropousses en agriculture verticale au cœur même de Bruxelles. Dans le cadre de son développement, nous sommes à la recherche de stagiaires étudiants en Agronomie (toutes orientations confondues), en Gestion de l’environnement ou dans toutes branches en rapport avec l’agriculture urbaine.

Concrètement, Microflavours produit des micropousses, c’est-à-dire des jeunes plants au stade cotylédons-première feuille, d’une vingtaine de variétés de plantes à destination des restaurants gastronomiques de Bruxelles. Pour cela, une cave a été aménagée avec des tables de cultures superposées et un éclairage LED afin de créer un environnement de culture totalement contrôlé et peu énergivore, la production est par après livrée aux chefs en vélo cargo électrique.

Cependant, de nombreux défis sont encore à relever ! C’est pourquoi nous désirons recruter des étudiants dans le cadre de leur travail de fin d’études ou comme stage d’exploration d’entreprises. Dans le cas d’un stage visant à rédiger un travail de fin d’études, de nombreux sujets de recherche peuvent être envisagés : amélioration du rendement, de la germination, recherches sur le substrat, diminution des déchets, exploration des possibilités d’économie circulaire, etc… Nous sommes ouverts à toutes les idées et prêts à discuter de la faisabilité de celles-ci.

L’étudiant sera encadré par le Responsable de production de la ferme pour toutes les tâches journalières ainsi que pour ses recherches touchant au TFE/mémoire. Le travail se divisera en plusieurs parties, il sera demandé à l’étudiant d’aider journalièrement aux activités de la ferme mais du temps sera évidemment allouer aux recherches propres à l’étudiant.
