Meet our 11-month-old male Pyrenean Mountain Dog, affectionately named Mangrove Warrior of Love ❤️ who was born right in our hands.
At social gatherings 🎉🍺🥤🍹 he can’t resist the urge to show off by standing on his hind legs! It’s either his way of mimicking the humans—something I wouldn’t recommend—or, let’s hope it’s the latter, he still believes he’s a tiny puppy 🐶 who can snuggle on our laps.
The best part? He can’t talk, and honestly, that’s probably a good thing! 😂🐾

Sacred moments… embracing the daily rituals that shape our lives!
I find solace in the company of my dogs, even amidst dog shows that are often filled with negative vibes. I cherish the tranquil moments we share together. As a Buddhist Theravada Meditation Master, I am profoundly grateful for the meditation and mindfulness practices that nurture a sense of inner peace, even in the chaos of the jungle 🌍 around us. In these turbulent times, I discover a deep tranquility that allows me to remain centered and resilient.
I firmly believe in karma and trust in its principles. However, this belief does not blind me to the injustices, corruption, discrimination, favoritism, hypocrisy and self-interest that permeate our society. I actively voice my opinions on these matters, advocating for what is just and right.
To reiterate the essential teachings on karma: the Buddha observed that actions motivated by good intentions, such as compassion, lead to happiness, while actions rooted in delusion result in suffering.
It is evident that many fail to recognize the continuous cycle of life, death, and rebirth known as samsara; otherwise, they would act with greater wisdom, dignity, and integrity. The ultimate aim of Buddhist practice is liberation from samsara.
Karma operates as a natural law governing our existence, much like the law of gravity. Unlike fate or predestination, we can transform our karma through understanding. This insight empowers us with free will. Just as we learn about the earth’s gravitational pull—recognizing that larger objects attract smaller ones—we can navigate our lives with wisdom. To avoid unnecessary suffering, we should align our actions with this natural law, much like refraining from jumping off the top of the Empire State Building.
I can only hope that others will come to see the light of integrity and awareness, embracing peace and compassion in their lives.

A treasured symbol of spiritual significance, the chapel’s role in the community has long been revered. And now, after decades of quiet, it will once again open its doors 🚪 to the public in the spring of 2025.
In keeping with traditions seen in cities like New York, the chapel will host a yearly blessing of animals— a ceremony designed to celebrate and protect our beloved companions.
This event isn’t just a blessing, but a spiritual gathering that honors the connection between all living beings. Animals from near and far, of every kind and breed, are invited to take part. Life truly doesn’t get more perfect than this. Like children, you want to give them nothing but the best—to protect them fiercely, even though they believe it’s their duty to protect you. All we wish for them is a life filled with happiness and absolute peace, free from any care in the world. 🐾☀️🌿By the way; the uniformity of this litter is simply remarkable—almost six identical siblings… which is no surprise when you consider the decades of dedicated work from the breeders of their parents.Although we typically avoid repeating combinations or matings in order to preserve genetic diversity and safeguard the future of the breed, we may just make an exception in this case. At 10 months old, our ‘little’ junior, Mangrove Warrior of Love ❤️, transforms into a gentle softy and pacifist during physiotherapy and massage. As the soothing hands work their magic, he revels in the attention and tenderness, melting into a bundle of Love ❤️. Each stroke and gentle touch elicits relaxed sighs and contented hugs, revealing a softer side of him that’s pure sweetness. Yet, even in these serene moments, his playful spirit and mischievousness shine through, adding a delightful mix of playfulness to the experience—and to the therapist’s enjoyment too! Now, he’s ready to return to his duties, guarding "his" sheep, “his” alpacas, “his” horses, and “his” Scottish Highlanders—though the latter two hardly need a guardian (Angel)! 🐾❤️💆♂️
