Puberty hits hard with Elliot the Dachshund.
He rides Cyriel and sometimes Cyriel is riding Elliot.
They express their love in many ways. 😇
🐾 Bringing each other a bone.
🐾 Greeting each other in the morning with licks in the mouth & ears.
It is important that when they ride each other you look at the behaviour of the dog on "bottom". When he is "forced" or gives warnings he doesn't wan't some in that moment the younger dog needs to listen.
They sometimes don't listen to the other dog and then you have to intervene and correct the younger dog.
Did you know a lot of dogs ride when they are over stimulated or tired?

De Duitse staander Qortès van 6,5 jaar en de Vizsla Clovis van 2 jaar, beiden reutjes hadden ruzies tot bloedens toe.
Ze moesten uiteindelijk gescheiden gehouden worden. Dit geeft natuurlijk niet enkel stress voor de hondjes maar ook voor het gezin.
Deze dame heeft naast haar gezin ook een zelfstandige zaak waar ze vele uren ik werkt.
Super trots op haar dat ze heeft blijven doorzetten en vertrouwen had in mijn aanpak. 🙏♥️🐾
